My buddy who is a big Steelers fan says he is an average receiver who was under utilized in Steel town

we will draft 2 guys as well.

Pretty much have to if you think about it. As much as all of us want Gallup to come back at 100% we don't know that for sure. Plus, WR's get dinged here and there. I think what you say is spot on: draft two more.

Who you talking too. If you can't have a civilized conbo then gtoh. Clearly if it's that close it's need but if a wr is top 5 player and he is still there over a lineman that's bottom. 1 or top of the 2nd caliber you take the wr smdh
It's dumb in 2022. Period

Washington is simply a plan B in case Gallup misses a couple early games and there's no receiver the Cowboys like available in the early rounds. Hence the one year deal. If he proves worthy here a bigger contract awaits in 2023, either here or someplace else.

Yet another signing that fills a roster spot, but leaves a position as a need. A familiar refrain during this free agency period.

Most teams look at free agency as a way to get better. The Cowboys use it as a "validation" of their original talent evaluations of guys on their roster and a way to fill a roster without truly addressing needs. It's no wonder why they can't ever get over the hump.
