Nah, you are resorting to semantics arguments so you can be annoying just for the sake of it. It works as you push the buttons, then get to act defensive as you did with this post. Manipulative.

:hammer:

Dude. Relax. Let's not get personal, ok?

There's no expectation of exact precision from anybody. Actually saying more or less what you really mean so that other people understand where you stand is generally sufficient.

People only think things are personal when they know a critique is true

Your avatar weirds me out. And I don't like you referring to CC as your tight end, weirds me out even more.

Roy is way too bottom heavy then he was in his first two years. His movement looks horrible as compared to his other years. He can't turn his hips and he just looks slow to the ball. I have no idea whose idea was it for him to get like that, because it failed miserably. That guy who trained him should be shot.

Remember when he lost like 15 lbs before camp, by taking a bunch of diet pills. Everyone was excited about a lean and mean Roy. He put those 15 lbs of water weight back on before the season even started.

i'm not a roy hater but its his time to go he just doesnt have the movement or mean streak anymore that made him great his first couple years in the league...

Personally, I'm in no rush to drop Roy Williams. He still has value and is still better than most SS's in the league. He's had a rough few years and had his confidence shattered...it's time for a real DC to build him back up again and use him for his strengths.

I think Wade would have used him wisely and kept him out of deep coverage last year if he hadn't been injured. We then would have been better with him at SS than with Watkins and then Davis. Watkins wouldn't have been injured trying to play out of position as SS and would have improved our pass defense as he was coming on in certain packages.

If we find someone who truly beats Roy out in camp, fine...release him. But right now, that's a position that is stronger with him than without him.

I tend to lean towards bringing him back but at a reduced salary. He will definitely have to take a pay cut. I do agree with all you wrote though Wayne.
