Sensitive much?

It's too low, I'm saying they failed to fix the problem.

So don't get your panties all riled up.

For the superbowl...they usually hang a custom banner that goes around the ring of the floor on the stands wall....our stadium doesn't have that. After looking at photos of the new stadium, how are they even going to decorate the stadium? That custom banner that wraps around is like 90% of the superbow decorations.

Who cares about a banner?

As for your other concerns I would wait until the season starts to see what kind of changes are made. As others have mentioned there probably will be some modifications between now and then.

If there are plans to paint or stain some of the concrete then they probably wanted to wait some time to allow the concrete to cure a little longer. Stains do better when the concrete has cured a bit.

Fix what problem? Do we know for certain that a problem exists?

Not unless someone is trying to kick straight up during a game.

Dang, guess we have to take out the kick to ourselves trick punt play from the playbook :(

You were just too darn vague with your Fail pic then.:p: I actually don't see a problem since no one punts straight up during a game.

Why not just eliminate the uncertainty and raise it another 10 feet?

Apparently, they can do that from what I've read.

What uncertainty? I am not trying to be dense. I just have not heard that it was a concern by anyone except for some on this forum. Is the league concerned? Are the coaches? If so I could have easily missed reading something about it and that is why I asked the question.

Plus who is to say they are not going to raise it another 10 feet. Why assume that is not the plan?

How high is it above the field? How does that compare to other scoreboards or the scoreboard in Texas Stadium? It could easily be at the same height, but just appears to be lower due to its huge mass.

It's about 90 feet from the floor. From what I remember reading, one of the architects involved had some of the soccer players try to kick it purposely, to see if they could hit it. Well, judging from that video it didn't seem to take much effort IMO.

I guess I'm a "worry wart" or whatever....

I'd just hate to see BSPN or any media poke fun of our new stadium....that's all.

Maybe Jerry can face all the exposed concrete with Carrera marble.

I disagree. Judging from that video it appeared to stake some effort to hit the video board. They weren't drilling the ball into hit.

Soccer balls are lighter and easier to kick than footballs. I can punt a soccer ball higher and further than I can punt a football.

Soccer balls are alot easier to kick higher than football, based on their shape alone. You don't kick a football straight up in the air, so the video is really useless. Stop worrying about the height of the scoreboard. The cowboys had McBriar try to hit the Alamo dome scoreboard two years ago and couldn't come close. 90 ft is nine stories...not an easy feat
