I am of the opinion you put him back at LB and let him blitz up the middle and stunt. I love him on the outside but I want him to be able to last 20 games as well.

Late to this thread, but this is a concern I've raised over and over in many threads.

Micah is a tremendous player, but consistently lining him up against offensive linemen who are significantly larger will take its toll. It will shorten his career.

you can say whatever you like and are entitled to your opinion, but folks don't have to agree. he did not blame the coaches, or mention his numbers, just said that it takes a toll. like we've all said.
I did think it was foolish for him to be playing late in the Vikings game.
Don't care the reasons , don't care who's decision it was , it was not smart.

He is the same height and weight as Von Miller who has been rushing the passer his entire career. Sounds like he needs to learn how to better pace himself or concentrate more playing the left side of the line so he isn't going up against a left tackle most of the time. He seems to really getting worn down more playing RDE.

The Cowboys defensive star admitted that playing the “trench warfare” is starting to take a toll on his body. He told Von Miller on The VonCast that playing more of a linebacker last year was better for his body, but it’s quite different this 2022 as Dallas seemingly uses him as a defensive end more often–despite Parsons’ insistence that he’s still a linebacker.

“People don’t understand that trench warfare. I’m not gonna lie, when I was playing LB a whole lot last year, my body was way more fresh. There were some plays I wouldn’t get touched. When you’re on the line, you’re getting touched every play,” the 23-year-old shared, via Jon Machota of The Athletic.

Just like his rookie year in 2021, Micah Parsons had a brilliant start to his campaign this 2022. Through the first 12 weeks of the season, he accumulated 12.0 sacks as he made his presence felt for the Cowboys.

However, it has been different in the past two games. Not only has Parsons failed to record a sack against the struggling Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans, but he also just had one QB hit and zero tackle for loss in that span. For comparison, he had five QB hits in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings, and prior to Weeks 13 and 14, there was just one other game when he failed to register a tackle for loss (in Week 8).

In real warfare Micah would run away with wet pants.

Micah Parsons is his own worst enemy because of his passion. He's a coach's dream, full motor on all the time so he serves as an example to the other players and every coach will exploit that. Parsons took that loss in GB worse than any player and coaches love that.

In one sense he's like Roy OU Williams was, when he made a play, he ignited the defense for a few plays but that was short lived.

Parsons is not yet like a lot of NFL players, more than we'd like to think, all about the money and the money is good. Have you noticed the sideline of the losing teams lately? The visiting and smiling as if they're not culpable in what's going on the field. Game over, let's all hug, exchange jerseys and maybe we'll get to play together someday.

The sad fact is the money just got too big too fast and few players take losing as hard as the fans and most view themselves as hired guns. It's not their fault, it just happened. The entire NFL, from owners to coaches to players, is just one huge money grab. This bears little resemblance to what I grew up with and why I fell in love with the NFL. It's all showbiz and showboats now.

How do you know what he'd do in war? Clown comment

Because like other athletes he's been coddled since prewee football.
He does not know combat adversity like veterans.
Brady caught flak over his "deployment" comment. Why not Micah?
This talking idiot Micah needs a taste of combat to appreciate his station in life.
Shuddup and play LB!!!

Lol. You don't know what you're talking about. You don't think any nfl players were in a life or death situation before? You think they all ran? Yeah ok

now hes blaming his coaches for his getting many goose eggs now?? when i saw him force his way back to the MN blowout to pad his stats after being injured?? Hes needing to mature bit more IMHO hes upset that hes no longer leading rh league in any defensive category's and players like Nick Bosa has passed him by, no more Lawernce/MVP talk.
MPs great, no doubrt, he will get paid like a DE and its money than most LBs make. so he won't complain when that happens,

BTW played a lot more LB against that eagles' game 1 and well he got exposed. MP is still great, but teams have adjusted to him and his teammates are benefiting and im sure he will adjust back..hes in bit of slump now hes crying over how's hes being utilized. man, thats a young player's issue. He said hed follow DQW anywhere, apparently anywhere but allowing the coaches to play him where they think is best.

hes been pouting on the sideline a bit, emotionless etc seeming not happy some games, if you haven't noticed, dont shoot the messenger. I noticed it.

we saw this with players like Kalil Mack and others. Teams will counter and you will have to counter back.

LOL, if you’re ignorant at least don’t open your mouth and out your foot in it to remove all doubt

:facepalm::facepalm:

Whatever your statement may be, it has interesting parallel construction. You might be an idiot savant on another wavelength.
