Three year rule. Those rankings are garbage. Hyatt is the #10 ranked player in the entire draft. Drew Sanders is the #9 prospect. That is ridiculou.

I certainly wouldn’t have Hyatt above all those guys but at least Lance has some respect on his name! The problem with consensus boards is they're watered down with a lot of copy cats. You're better off picking one that's been pretty accurate and use that one. How a player does in the NFL depends on a lot of factors like surrounding players coaching etc. It's always fun to look back after three years and see how the players turned out. I wouldn't judge Williams on how he does this year either, it might take him a while to fully recover from the injury like Gallup but he's also adjusting to the NFL but after three years we should have a pretty good idea how things will shape up.
6.5 Hyatt
6.5 Burks 33/444
6.5 Wilson 74/1014
6.48 Williams 1/41
6.46 Downs
6.45 Flowers
6.43 Olave 83/1103
6.41 NJigba
6.4 London 72/866
6.4 Johnston
Grading draft prospects isn't an exact science but the ultimate ranking is performance and probably the next best and more immediate test is where teams pick them because when you think about it those guys jobs are on the line. The top four guys were picked almost right in a row and three of them had very good rookie seasons so we'll have to see how they end up doing. Williams could turn out to be a bust or a game changer but his draft grade and the Lions feel he'll be a game changer.I certainly wouldn’t have Hyatt above all those guys but at least Lance has some respect on his name!
I probably have him as a late 1st rounder which is right around where I have Williams.
Avila isn’t going round 1I think they really like Downs. And I think they see him as a guy that could be there in round 2. Maybe they take Avila round 1 and Downs round 2. May not be popular on this board, but seems like a real possibility with all the talk about how much they love Avila.
Per cbs lol. Go look per nfl.comThe Cowboys have already hosted 4 Wide Receivers that are rated in the top 50 players per CBS:
They've also hosted projected 6th round pick Jonathan Mingo of Ole Miss.
- (10) Quinton Johnson - TCU
- (20) Zay Flowers - Boston College
- (45) Josh Downs - North Carolina
- (47) Jalin Hyatt - Tennessee
I was thinking the same thing. Because of the limited amount of talent at the position . . . Teams will need to reach for these playersWhich possibly makes you think that the FO have ONE of them pretty high on their board and they're trying to smoke and mirror which one.....Bills, Saints and Chiefs, pick just behind us and probably have a much greater NEED of WR. At this this scattergun approach will help disguise the issue and may help with a potential trade down.
I'm Hoping this means that they are not going to resign CD for big money and just keep someone in the wings at all times to rotate thought. i'm a OU Homer and i like CD but he's not worth a big contract and his production can be replaced. Jerry needs to get out of the old thinking of Players sell Jerseys (which they do) but what sells more Jerseys is wins and consistent wins. I think in todays age of football you can get 2 things consistently in the Draft to produce on offense: [WR and RB]. you can find guys in the top 4 rounds of the draft to do those things at all times
