biggest weakness right now is swing tackle.
I think that Green has taken an excessive number of snaps in practice + games. IMO, he would look better if he was playing during the season when the players are not worn down from training camp. He has a lot of talent, but just needs to keep getting game reps.

I'm surprised that neither L. Collins or Martin have taken some snaps at OT. They both played LT at big time college football programs and Leary is a top backup OG.

Our depth issue is only an issue because it seems like we deal with so many injuries every year.

His slow feet and penalties I guess prevented the team from scoring 37 first half points as opposed to 27.

Foolish comment. You cant possibly think that EVERY player gets a free pass on the job they did simply because the end result was great.

It is the opposite of that for the defense. They lack elite players on defense but have depth in terms of having a lot of "good enough" players.

I am pleased with our overall level of talent acquisition under Garrett. It is consistently getting better, the cap is getting in better shape as time goes on, and the amount of problem children is also going down with a few notable exceptions, including Hardy.

We have fewer black holes of talent on this team than in years past. We have two starting defensive ends out due to suspensions and a linebacker who is probably going to be cut due to off the field issues, and I have confidence that we will somehow make due.

No one knows where the pass rush will come from or if it will be good enough. I think we will get enough pressure from the defensive interior to be more effective than we were last year. Whoever plays at end will be as effective or more so than a dinged up Gregory was last year.

I get the feeling that Wilcox' days may be numbered. I hate to see that he didn't put it together here, but he has had enough time to figure it all out. Whoever takes his spot will probably play better as well.

I agree we have a lot of no names on defense, but really almost everyone was a no name at some point. Some of these guys will make a name for themselves.

I agree Green was never going to be a LT he was always projected as being a RT at best. I see positives from the first game to the second.

That would be me that said EXACTLY that. Here is my take on the entire roster:

QB: Great (surprisingly, this was bad and after Dak I love it.
RB: Great
WR: Solid
Oline: OK Other than Leary I dont like anyone else
TE: Solid

DE: Horrid
DT: Good
LB: Poor I am not including Smith in this.
Safety: Horrid
Corner: Horrid

So I guess my beef is mostly with the defense. But the only great depth I see is QB and RB. I see NO GREAT looking starters coming up from the reserves other than Dak and Morris.

I do believe this team is top heavy. Other than its pro bowl types there isnt much else to the roster. And we saw that last year.

And please dont give me the if this if that nonsense or the.........................he could be ok or he will be fine or he might be able to start yada yada yada.

And of course someone will most likely respond asking to name other teams with great depth.
Right on! I think some peeps are getting bodies confused with depth. Sure you have enough backups for every position, but are these guys any good? Are they durable? Or are they just bodies.

It's foolish to point out a few plays and discard the other forty snaps.

If every blocker gave up a sack a game and had a penalty a game Romo would be dead. That would be giving up 7 to 8 sacks a game.

Its not hard to find out about how he played, there are plenty of articles about him. He was absolutely horrid the first game. The second game he showed some improvement but was still making too many mistakes. Improvement over horrid is basically saying no place to go but up. If you need the articles I can provide several for you. And why would you be defending him anyway? Is he your brother or something?
