Cowboys to meet with Zimmer

Defense wins championships. You don't have to like it, but everybody knows this. Zimmer has never been a champion anywhere, and his record stinks of mediocrity. Hiring Zimmer would be extremely stupid. His defense philosophy doesn't work in the playoffs (sound familiar?). He's old and tired, and not desired by anyone other than Jerry.

You should want more from your team like hiring the best, not old, tired, boring retreads that aren't going to accomplish anything more than wasted seasons.

To be fair, he does have a ring with Dallas.

That being said, I really hope he is not the hire.

Just heard Woody talking on the fan and he said Zim is the kind of coach the defence needs, he's tough and holds players accountable..I'm hoping we hire Zim

How many are left open? Is there interest from either of those guys to go elsewhere? Why do those teams not have interest in Vrabel, BB, and whatever other name that has been tossed out there? Low hanging fruit.
