Which is why Thornton is not getting some 100 mill contract. As for Watts Houston lines him up all over the place to say he is a pure DE is a bit of a reach, Watts will lineup as the outside rusher and move inside as well. Not trying to compare Thornton to Cox or Watts just saying in Dallas he will be moved to DT as a 1 tech.

he's obviously not as good as either, but if you think he had the same freedom to make plays as opposed to having to occupy blockers, which is all we want him to do here, then you need to go back and watch the eagles some more...keep a barf bucket close by though

If Marinelli had either of those two guys he would plug them into the 3 tech. Two of the best inside type pass rushers out there.

You understand the difference in positions right? You know what Hatcher was signed with the Commanders for? Sacks. Thornton is a run stuffer.

Hatcher failed and is contemplating retirement. Thornton is, from what I read, succeeding at his job. Stick to your day job.

OK we paid money for what? A run blocker? We need pressure. If we stop playing undersized DL that would most likely solve our run defense issues.
