Saleh is the best choice IMO. I think he got a raw deal in NY and his defenses even there and prior to that have been stout.

But I think it’s going to be Moore because of his history with Dak, and JJ’s obsession with losing Sean Payton and trying to replace him with carrot top, and now leave it to beaver. I think Moore is a good OC, but he doesn’t strike me with as imposing HC material.

Old School Coordinators are high enough up on accountability to drive discipline home.

This story is all per my dad who tragically passed away at age 56. When I was super young, like 4, I was doing my coloring book. It was a picture of a star and I colored it in navy blue. That same day Dallas was playing, and I made some child connection between what I colored and what I saw on tv. My dad always told me I became a Cowboys fan that day and I was always extra excited when they were on TV. All my baby photos I'm wearing Eagles gear (we live in the burbs right outside Philly), so he certainly was hoping I'd become a Eagles fan like him.

Why did I have to color a star blue that day. What a awful, awful choice I made. I hate their fans just as much if not more than anyone based on the abuse I've received my whole life from them, but their team is always in contention. RIP dad, you tried

I think if Moore says no, we end up with Schottenheimer, due to familiarity.

I don't think Frazier would be the fallback option.

I actually really like Frazier. Not for HC, but as a DC. He had some excellent defences in Buffalo.

Those are some pathetic names. Outside of Deion Sanders, none of those offer even the remote possibility of improvement.

Leslie Frazier was 21-32-1 as a Head Coach. He hasn’t been a head coach since 2013 and has been a DC and even a position coach since.

Robert Saleh was 20-36 as a Head Coach. IMO, he’s an elite Defensive Coordinator and nothing more.

Anthony Lynn was 33-32 as a Head Coach. I like him a lot as a person but he’s not a top-quality Head Coach. One plus is that he’d probably bring his son as DC. D’Anton Lynn is from the Baltimore coaching tree and is one of the sharpest young defensive coaches I have ever had the pleasure to speak with.

Kellen Moore has never been a Head Coach at any level. He has interviewed poorly in the past and football people aren’t sure he’s a leader.

Jason Witten coaches a lower division private high school. It’s embarrassing that he’s even in this conversation. Could he be a Head Coach one day? Maybe. He should have to prove that though. Comparing him to Dan Campbell, who was an NFL assistant for 10 years, is an insult to the position.
