Cowboys top coaching candidates according to Schefter

All failed head coaches or no experience at all like witten to prop up Kellen. It’s ridiculous. We all know Kellen is who they want but they could at the very least do their due diligence on an Aaron Glenn and bring him in for an interview or some of the other top candidates and then ultimately go with Kellen but this list is a joke

Dallas should just go with Deion. He is used to the spotlight, can relate to the player psychology in regards to performance and better marketing themselves. It's really a no brainer.

Vegas has Moore as the favorite to get the job. these guys are rarely wrong
That doesn’t account for Moore possibly deciding to go to another team or even stay in Philadelphia.

A roster full of HOF'ers in the salary cap era....yeah let me know how that works out for ya........
The actual point of the post hopefully is well-taken...

Talent > Coaching

And so, yeah, this hire matters, but it's easily overblown... ie, in the hierarchy of things, you can get by with "meh" coaching to the degree that you have exceptional talent at key positions...

And and... the converse is not true... HoF head coach will not single-handedly make the difference.

We're just in a season right now where we have nothing else really worth talking about, so fans get easily... too easily... triggered, from where I sit.

The Cowboys have one head coach candidate: Kellen Moore.

I can’t believe people still fall for this ****.

Lists ,that are just opinions ,those DO NOT mean anything. Given the way Ben Moore and Aaron Glenn just ended abruptly fell short they're gonna be on the list but I'm telling you the real dark horse here is Pete Carroll to put together a staff that would be pretty close a good match for this veteran team windows open for two years with Prescott.. So can the Cowboys fans stop buying into just other people's lists that are not accurate they're just opinions we all have an opinion who might be here but given the lions quick departure losing to a six seed are we gonna talk about that because these are supposed to be the best coordinators the best head coach this roster we've seen in a while and they got beat by a six seed Washington team that struggled with the Cowboys let's get that straight I am not hyped up or scared of the Washington team at all they barely could hang with our backups.. Dumb games just turn out that way that's why this is a team game Washington got hot they had a great game plan and this is where we're at but I'm telling you right now anybody who thinks Washington is is ascending that quickly need to go back and look at the two games they played against us and when I mean by us that would be the Dallas Cowboys backups..

Go Rams.

I'd put him a step below intern. maybe clean toilets and mop floors at the Star
I know Shariff Floyd started here as an intern. Well Quality Control, which is basically a coaching intern. Thats typically where ex players start. But because Witten is royalty inside the Star, he is a serious HC candidate

Also, spineless Kellen won't stand in the Jones way of anointing Jason Witten as coach-in-waiting.

It's a "no lose" situation for them.

Unless you care about actual wins and losses on the field? Then it's an only lose situation.

can you stop believing things you read that are absolute 100% all opinion unless you talk to Jerry you don't know who his list is really he could be interested in Glenn he could be interested in Johnson you all get all emotional let's let this coaching search move forward and see what happens I'm telling you right now it might be a shock but the lions getting their *** kicked by arrival and then being available more early maybe Jerry will interview both of those guys I mean you guys can say all you want but you can listen to ESPN but I can tell you right now ESPN is not talking to Jerry unless you hear it straight from Jerry nothing here is more than an opinion  :espn:

Deion would sell tickets. That might be the best Jerry can hope for. I don’t think Dallas is competing for a championship the next 2-3 years no matter which coach they pick.

Kingsbury or riot.

Here you go, just in case things do not proceed like you hope they will.

That’s a list you make when you’re gonna fire people at the end of the year it’s basically the same list.

I can tell everyone one thing; yall will all be wishing we had big mike back if this post is suppose to be an upgrade. These coaches have been picked based on all being able to coddle little Dak and are yes men to Jerry. Here’s to another five years of mediocrity

I wish better for Kellen.

Of course he didn't exactly say the right thing about his interview when he said, "Excited. And mentioned he still had a good deal of relationships here.

If he wanted to lock this job down, he would have said, "I'm excited and look forward to working for Mr. Jones and look forward to adding a Super Bowl to his amazing legacy.

"Being Head Coach if the Dallas Cowboys under Mr. Jones is a dream come true.

"I'm so thankful to Mr. Jones for this great opportunity. This is a job I would do for free."

Hired on the spot.
