I have not read through all the posts yet on a mega thread....but depending the trade, not a fan of this....for all you injury prone player haters....here it is....

Weaknesses There are questions about injuries (broken tibia in 2010 and torn ACL in 2011). There are questions about his pass blocking and receiving ability - both are limited and sometimes ineffective. There are questions about his character which caused him to be used in a smaller role during 2012, and also resulted in Michael sleeping through some meetings with teams at the Combine. He has also never had more than 166 carries in a season.

One can never underestimate the role of a lockerroom and coaching motivations.

If we only gave up a 7th, I like it.
The Rb group looks more balanced now and well protected if/when there are any injuries.
Also like that we have Gus on the PS.

no comment on losing edwards? how interesting

I didn't think he was long for the roster anyway. He and Brinkley were my top two players whose spots were shaky, followed by Swaim. I thought they would cut from the TE spot, though, because of how many backs and TEs they have, but the DL also was crowded.

Quit crying all the time dude!

It gets old.

The organization is in a good place. Finger is pointing up. Give it a rest.

Yeah I got up to that point when I quit reading the thread because Risen had started on a 'Dallas sucks but not as much as their fans' rant. I guess he didn't get what he wanted so he is throwing a tantrum.

Love the move, personally. This team needed a physical presence that neither Randle, McFadden, or Dunbar has.

At worst, Michael will be our much needed thumper on short yardage, possibly goal line back. At best, he'll be our bell cow at some point. just hope the coaches can fix his inconsistensy.

Does this mean Dunbar get's cut?

No everyone keeps confusing his role. He is ace special teamer and 3rd string RB. If anyone would get cut it would be Randle. However I see Dallas running with 4 RB and just 2 QBs. Edwards DE was release to make room for Michaels.

He has a pretty thick build and although he didn't carry the ball much last season (34 attempts) he averaged 5.1 a carry. Not enough film of him to know what he is but he could end up being pretty good with more of an opportunity. If he can help pick up those tough yards he'll be worth the trade. We'll have to see how it turns out.
