Better than Randle and he's a better between the tackles runner than that Arkansas bust.

If he can't start here, it's on him. He'll never face less competition in the NFL.

Agree in that he's a great choice for starting... just question how long it will be before he's ready.

I knew we were going to make a move like this at this time

I have been saying for months that there is no way we are going to go into the season with just McFadden and Randle splitting the bulk of the carries.

Dunbar is just a change of pace back, so we were needing another back and Michael has the potential to be an every down back. To get him for just a 7th is insane, we totally raped the Hawks in this trade.

I think Randle is gonna surprise a lot of cowboys fans this season. I really don't understand the criticism his running ability gets. When he has had opportunities he has made nice plays.

His pass protection needs a lot of attention and he has off the field concerns but as far running the ball i'm excited to see what he can do.

Michael has a real chance to become the back everyone thought he would behind this line and with our passing game. Ignore those talking about he's only worth a conditional 7th. His value is way more than that. He is much better than most of the backs taken from round 2 on in this past draft. The value of players is at its lowest on cutdown day and the day after as teams look to get what they can. Seattle has Rawls on a UDFA deal and Michael was on a 2nd round pick deal. If they like Rawls and he is cheaper, its easy to see way they would move him. That doesn't mean he is no good. The guy is a very good RB and has a chance to emerge as a star in Dallas.

I believe that Rawls and CMike are similar type of players and that would make sense why they would want to trade the more expensive player given their cap situation.

I'd rather taken Gray. But I guess I can live with this.

In their continued effort to replace DeMarco Murray, the Cowboys made it known that they would add another running back if the right deal presented itself.

They made one Sunday, trading a 2016 conditional seventh-round draft pick to Seattle in exchange for 2013 second-round pick Christine Michael, according to a source. To make room for the transaction, the Cowboys released defensive end Lavar Edwards from their 53-man roster.

He's not Emmitt.

Ball control is not an issue to sweep under the rug. If he can't protect the football, he can't play. No matter how good he looks running it.

1 fumble in 52 career carries, doesn't seem like an issue.
