Getting Hankins and a 7th in 2023 for a 2023 6th is a good deal but keep in mind Hankins is an UFA after this season and while he will help the interior D-line, I think more moves are needed to help both sides of the ball.

If he plays well, he might be fairly cheap to re-sign. Raiders were paying him $3.5 million on a one-year deal.

Well, for now, how do all the fans having a meltdown about never trading for players and giving up too much feel? :muttley:

That to be determined on how he plays.

This is a good trade, even if he doesn't work out as we want, we basically did not give up anything.

any good at all, better then who right now on our roster,

hill?
Watkins?
Osa
Gallimore
???im asking, don't know.

Gallimore was inactive this past game. Hill didn't record any tackles against Detroit. Bohanna has been hit and miss. We brought Watkins up from the practice squad because we wanted more run-stoppers against the Lions, and we still didn't exactly stop the run. Hankins likely easily becomes out best run-stopping DT. Would be nice if he could also get back some of that pass rush he showed earlier in his career.

Gallimore had personal issue not an injury issue he will be back,.it happens. unless hes about to be suspended we dont know what personal issue meant he wont be moved off the rotation unless hes unavailable.
