This was the plan if Tet got taken off the board.I guess this is the Jones’s answer to all the pundits complaining on Dallas not get a WR in the draft. Now they look so smart.
no, there is no better dream. its moves a GM makes to make the team ready for championship. not regular season success and early playoff exit as they have been and this move is just another one like that.No way to tell until a player signs their next contract. It’s based on where the new contract falls in comparison to all other players at that position.
is Vita Vea available for a 3rd round pick? Jaylen Carter? Chris Jones?
A team makes the moves they need when they can.
There’s always some better dream out there there.
It’s year 3 for Mazi. Time to put up or shut up now. Two years of excuses are out the way.So would Mazi, but I would REALLY like to get an established 1T stud.
THIS ^^^^This makes zero sense.
A 3rd for a one-year guy with major character issues on a team that isn't going anywhere this year anyway.
lol. Geez, are you ever happy about anything? We may not win anything next year but at least we are being entertained.Shotty changing the culture with “high character” guys already.
Shotty was hired specifically to not be in control of anything, just as I’ve been saying all along.
This trade proves it.
The bigger issue is we were looking for high character guys to change the culture of the team and we trade for a potential cancer. I like the trade personally, but conflicting narratives coming out of this office latelyThey made the trade to improve their chances of going somewhere.
You misspelled Ferguson.Lamb
Pickens
Turpin
Blue
Schoonmaker
Good luck defending this offense.
You're taking Lamb off the field to go two TEs?You misspelled Ferguson.
Last season something was wrong with him, before that he was making the most of his opportunity and we were seeing growth. So if their plan is to re-sign Pickens that means say goodbye to Jake Ferguson.
Which I'm for but a lot of people really value him like a core player.
Yeah probably. I am a Ferguson fan but last year he regressed a little. Maybe injury was a part of this. He is a good player, but not sure I would re-sign for what it would take. Maybe this year changes that. Dallas doesn't have a replacement on its roster currently though. So if their plan is to re-sign Pickens that means say goodbye to Jake Ferguson.

You believed Schotty had control, huh?The bigger issue is we were looking for high character guys to change the culture of the team and we trade for a potential cancer. I like the trade personally, but conflicting narratives coming out of this office lately
Where are they going to put his locker? We did not need another WR ....... but the great thing about this is how Pickens will react when Dak starts throwing the ball in the dirt at his feet or 10 feet over his head.
Its gonna be a show ....... get your popcorn ready.
so with this trade,
so the notion that we hit on 25% is 100% wrong!
I thought he was speaking about the NfL in general. They have had a good run. But I don’t know if we can consider some of those guys successes just yet. They aren’t bad guys but with Pickens we are talking about an elite talent and none of those guys are elite. This type of talent just typically isn’t available in the 3rd.so with this trade,
so the notion that we hit on 25% is 100% wrong!
