I agree. They clearly have a plan for Jones giving up a 3rd. I just wonder if the grand plan isn't Jones at LT and Guyton flipping to the right. If not this year, than next.

Jones is more fit on the right side, and jas more experience there too

They moved him to punt returner this camp and he was back there in the Arizona game. Had a couple fair catches but no returns.

Clearly these fans aren't happy that a team didn't give us an all-pro tackle for a 6th round pick and a can of Pringles.

Flipping a 3rd into a 4th and Jones was as good a deal Dallas was going to get. And people still aren't pleased.

I mean it’s what Dallas does. Shouldn’t be surprised.

They take risk on these guys who were drafted high and haven’t panned out. Some turn out to be Pickens. Some are Lance.

But they won’t break the bank with what they are paying Steele

David Bailey is going to do that to a lot of Tackles in this league.

But this trade certainly confirms what many Cowboys fans could clearly see - we have a problem at OT. Broderick Jones is a curious acquisition because he has been underwhelming for a first round pick.

Curious move. Not that we picked up an OT. But…this guy?

This to me is the weakest position on this football team, offensive tackle needs a talent infusion if this team wants to realize the Super Bowl dream. Steele can't sustain a block on a pass rusher for long and it really hampers this offense. Gotta get right tackle fixed anyway.
