TRADED Cowboys trade for OT Broderick Jones

They got the 4th back. How about some math skills?

They gave up 2 picks when they hardly had any to begin with . You don’t throw your 3 out the door for “ depth “ genius . Like I said beating out Steele should be the intention or this trade is a bust . The guys a FA next year .

The value of that exchange would have been a 4th round pick but the Cowboys didn't have one in 2026. Until now.

I don't like the trade. You are already short on draft capital in an expected deep draft and now you burn some more on a career underachiever. All because you thought Terence Steele was a good player and now you have nothing there.

Plus his last name is Jones. I need proof that he isn't related to Jerry.
When you're not happy I'm happy

It’s just a massive overpay for a guy that hasn’t been remotely good. We needed depth. Hell we need a starter lol
You aren't getting a starter. Every team has offensive line problems right now outside of 3-4 teams.

What is the overpay? They swapped a 3rd for a 4th, and Pittsburgh will likely finish middle is the pack. That's about like trading 20 spots back.

Don't care about 6th round picks.

They gave 2 and got 1 and the tackle.

To give up a 3rd he better replace Steele and make Steele the swing tackle . That’s a heavy price . Now you have even less picks in 27 as you gave up the 3rd and 6 only get back a 4 . I would have insisted even number of draft pick swaps .

Pickens must have lined up with him wonder if they asked him anything about the player . The OL coach has to have seen tape he liked .
Yeah I'm not happy at all at giving up a 3rd. I don't care that we're getting a 4th. I feel like there's a real drop off after the 3rd round. Fingers crossed we get value from this, but doesn't seem like it to me at first blush.

They are minus 1 after the trade in picks . Remember you insulted me with your “ math skills line “ . Minus one when you had only five to begin with in a deep draft . Like I said if the ex Steeler doesn’t come in and take over RT it’s a bad trade .

And he’s a FA in 27 he will be gone

They really only gave up a 6th. They just swapped their 3rd for Pittsburgh's 4th in the trade. And they still have a 6th rounder besides that one.
