TRADED Cowboys trade for OT Broderick Jones

I mean, he's much more athletic than Nate Thomas.
Right. Our coaches failed to be able to make Thomas overcome his athletic limitations. Their coaches failed to make Jones overcome his technique limitations. Now, it's our turn to probably fail to make Jones overcome his technique limitations, but technique at least something you can teach and scheme can make a difference for some players.

Of course, that's our hope with Shelton as well, and reality is that a lot of these players don't live up to their athletic ability.

Trading for an OT that most people here are not exactly enthused about. Kinda telling. OL needs help.

For the Gen X-ers: OL needs food BADLY!

Damn. You went from not knowing a whole lot about the player to proclaiming him a better fit for our scheme in 7 minutes. Impressive.
I just know that Klayton asks his OL block differently than McCarthy does. Adams is a lot less finesse.

I have no idea if this guy works out or not. Mainly I just said that I think moving a 3rd (and 6th) for a 4th is an ok price to find out.

I still don’t know anything about Jones other than he was known as an aggressive and powerful blocker at Georgia, which is a better fit for what Adams wants.

We can cherrypick all day, but it's less than 50 percent of fourth-rounders that hit in this league. I recently show Dallas' hit rate for that round over the last 10 years and it was pretty much right at 50 percent.

It's the outliers like the ones you mention here that get fans excited, but the reality is less exciting.
Lol....... Holly crap. Its hilarious how you didn't understand what I was doing.

He was incredible at Georgia at RT. (Pittsburgh used him at LT.) Let's let him heal and try him there.
Be quiet, ncelkins says he sucks. Our stupid front office should listen to prayers in here more often.

I'm not sure anyone understands what you are doing. Again, the fourth-round hit rate is only around 50 percent for us (slightly lower leaguewide). Listing several successes doesn't change that.

Had spinal neck fusion surgery and was struggling to return to form. IDK, getting LVE vibes
