Enough corners turned their heads around on other teams last year to pick us off 15 times…This is a common misconception amongst fans. Turning your head to the ball changes your position. Try running while also turning your head. It can be done, but when you're step-for-step, turning your head can take you out of step. The position you're in as a defender matters, and knowing if/when to turn your head matters. Often times, coaches will teach you to not turn your head, and instead have you watch the receivers hips to know where the defender is turning and then eyes to know when to bat the ball and place your hands between the ball. It's more likely he was coached this way than it being indicative of his ability. Depends on the scheme. But when I played man-to-man, that's how I was coached as well. If you're in position to take the ball, you watch the eyes, then turn your head. Still, there's that window where turning your head can cause you to miss the INT and result in a reception if your timing is off or if the receiver bluffs or times the route correctly.
Anyway, I liked Joseph as a player with potential. But a big part of me is glad the distraction is gone. I hope this new guy pans out. But I still think Joseph will have the better career, until I see evidence to the contrary.
IgbinogheneCan you phonetically spell that last name out in Texanese?
For those complaining about Joseph not turning his head to look for the ball, Igbinoghene has eyes in the back of his head.
5 pages for Joseph & 5 pages for Igbinoghene. Seems kind of short.10 Pages For a One Player Trade...C'Mon Now..

Don't really know about the other guy. Kelvin wasn't terrible in coverage but wasn't great either. From what I’ve gathered, this guy was borderline unplayable in Miami. Seems like an odd move to make. Joseph, while not good, at least appeared to be making improvements.
Well the guy we got rid of was a second round pick and the guy we got back was a first round pick, nothing wrong with people discussing that. Just my opinion.10 Pages For a One Player Trade...C'Mon Now..
Never have enough corners imoyou know what's frustrating both your post and that Twitter announcement literally says cornerback Kelvin Joseph but I don't know what position this other player plays why couldn't we put that next to his name what who is this guy I never heard of and I can see why he was traded one he hasn't lived up the expectations and two they're bringing back Lewis...
OK I looked it up why would you trade one corner for another corner don't we need linebackers and maybe offensive lineman more?? I'm OK with the trade but not for a corner we already have a bunch of corners we're probably gonna have to cut it makes no sense this makes no sense..
He never gave up his position chasing the ball. Supposedly, he's also very competitive and has A+ work ethic in practice. I think that boded well for him. That's quite impressive with how aware he was.
I think we're all calling him NoahI support this trade if only for the reason that I want to hear Jerry try to say his name after he's gone through half a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue.
Skip, is that you?Where can I buy his rap crap so I can throw it in the trash?
