Not when he's out there with the backups, one of whom Phillips was traded for to replace.

When he's got Parsons, Lawrence and Odighizuwa out there, it obviously creates more opportunities for him to get overlooked and make a play or two.

OK. We swapped a 6th for a 7th and got a player in at a position of need.

The difference between our 6th and the Giants' 7th last year was 200 vs. 226. It is all a crapshoot that late in the draft.

We literally picked this guy up for the least you can actually call a trade.

And stop with the "could have had him for free" junk. If you did your homework, you would know that Phillips took a minimum salary with a $430,000 signing bonus. That Giants are eating that bonus. Zimmer likes big dudes in the middle and we got another for peanuts.
