When you have an opportunity to improve any unit from very good to ELITE, you roll the dice.

Especially in a season that you're a legit SB contender.

I get what your saying. I’m just saying it hasn’t been proven that you can add players midseason and go on to win a ring. At least with Coop he was 25 and we had him under contract. I thought it was stupid the Giants traded a 3rd round pick to rent Tate for half a season. I’m
Not knocking the Rams for it. They have no draft picks and can’t draft. Cowboys are a bit different. They have built their team off of youth and swagger. I’d ride that the rest of the season.

They might beta 3rd back for his departure, but a second round pick is too much for a half season rental.
The massive deal that Byron Jones signed netted us a third (and at the end of the round, which is a glorified fourth).

Von Miller isn't getting a deal like that at age 33.

Then again the comp pick calculator is beyond understandable so who knows.

Still yes, way too much for him but the Rams look to be all in and then some.

No way it doesn't eventually catch up to them but I guess they figure Stafford is on the wrong side of 30 as well. Not the worst plan I've seen lol.
