'ESPN's Ed Werder reports the Cowboys are unlikely to trade up from the No. 34 pick.
Owner Jerry Jones considered trading up to Cleveland's spot at No. 32, but with multiple players with first-round grades still on the board, it looks like they'll stand pat at 34. Werder suggested the Cowboys could be targeting a pass rusher, which falls in line with a similar report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Clemson's Kevin Dodd and Eastern Kentucky's Noah Spence are both candidates to go at 34, though Dodd might be the safer pick given Spence's history of off-field issues.'

If the news about Myles Jack is true I would do whatever I could to get pick 32.

Well it's our Dr's who did the procedure . If we got clearance and Dr Andrew gave clearance , maybe it was our plan all along ? A lot of teams still look up to the Cowboys and a lot of the "red flag medical reports" we're coming from us. Could Jerry pull this off ?

I thought our Dr.s did Jaylon Smith's procedure.

Dodd is the safer pick but in terms of getting to the QB, Spence clearly has the higher upside. I see Dodd and I think Jeremy Mincey. Solid but not great. I think Spence can be great.

That's what you believe which isn't fact. .....why would Jerry lie about it

To try to cover the fact that he probably could have moved to 6 and still have gotten Elliott. If you read Jerry's explanation, he had no clue who the Ravens wanted before the deal was turned down. He said he only found out after they made their 4th pick. People are making it out like Jerry was told by Baltimore they wanted Elliott and he responded, no dice. He claims he had no idea who they wanted before a deal fell through.

I'm sure everyone out there believe we're targeting a pass rusher. It isn't like you need to be an insider to figure that out.

I think those "reports" are just speculation based on that need.

Not what I heard. Jerry ask ravens who they were taking as part of the deal. They said Zeke so Dallas backed out.

Doesn't matter you believe what you want. I see your comments about the team and know how you feel about them

I could be wrong, but given the off the field issues with Gregory and Lawrence, I can't see Dallas picking Spence at 34.

Star-Telegram article today on 10 thoughts from Day One. Jones is quoted as saying they didn't find out who the Ravens wanted until after the pick. He turned down the offer before knowing they wanted Elliott but claims Newsome was going to tell him if they were able to work out a deal just to be sure they weren't taking the same player.

And LOL at my comments about the team? What's that mean?
