Cowboys trying to trade up to 32

Moving up from 34 to 32 is dumb to me. Now using Leary as a trade chip to move up from 67 to the 50 range would be smart. Thats where the drop off starts. I think Leary carries a value somewhere around a late 3rd early 4th. Maybe a package of 67+Leary+189 is enough to get them ahead of that drop off.

I agree, there is so much talent for us at # 34, just sit and take best available. Leary is trade bait and can be used with a later pick (3rd or 4th). If we need to. But not at # 34 !

Dr Andrews said today jack won't need micro fracture surgery. #pensacola

Oh man, if this is true I can see why Dallas is considering to move up to get him. The cost moving up doesn't outweigh the potential benefit of landing another elite difference making player. Elliot & Jack?!

Jack may not need surgery. Worth it?

Myles Jack - LB - Player
Dr. James Andrews told UCLA LB Myles Jack he will not need microfracture surgery.

Andrews first examined Jack's knee in December. Jack seemed uncertain about whether he'd need surgery when discussing it earlier this week, but Andrews doesn't see the injury as a long-term issue. Other teams may feel differently but Andrews is well-respected in sports medicine and his name carries weight. It would be a surprise if Jack isn't one of the first names announced on Day 2.

The part about Jack being uncertain last week that he might need surgery and Andrews having seen his leg way back in December gives me pause again. Jack obviously has had other doctors checking him more recently. If he had doctors telling him two weeks ago he would not need surgery, I think he'd be quite clear about that.

Why are we trying so hard to give away picks? Barf.

I know it's probably for Ogbah.. Would the teams in front of us take him?

I almost lost it last night when I heard Jerry tried to gut the rest of our draft for Lynch.....a 2 and a 3....good Lord, that was almost a disaster. And we were getting raped in the deal anyways, we were overpaying by like 115 points on the chart

Now Jerry is at it again, trying to trade away more picks.........wow

The Browns want more picks too.

This would be wasteful but it's what these guys do. You're 2 picks away for crying out loud.

Tell that to the Ravens who wanted to move up 2 spots for Ramsey, couldn't, and watched him come off the board a pick before them. If you love a player, and can move up, do it.

He only offered a 4th to Seattle. Denver gave up 3rd

LOL. You would lose it if Dallas traded up to 32 by trading their 34th pick and a 6th rounder, let's say?

Myles Jack might be Luke Kuechly.

If the knee is good, get him. Swap 2nds, Ron Leary, and a 4th.
