makes you wonder if Garrett is losing the team
He is, imo.

I have to admit, I like the prospect of getting DMC back next year with a year in our system under his belt (for whatever that's worth). I'm going to need you to ease up on my boy Cmike though! I stood by your side all night while you worked though that Kellen thing. The least you could do is cut my boy some slack.
That's because he's cheap. LOL. He'll end the year on a high note, we'll sign him long term, and he'll get injured next year.
You are a happy fan...
Players already focused on next year......only 4.. full participation...that list will get longer if they lose this week......
You mean quitting.....players finding excuses not to practice is quitting. If we had a coach w/ any balls he'd be cutting that worthless CM today....
The NFL is not like most places. When you are sick you still come in. You come in and get treatment for your illness.
If we were 6-1, it would be interesting how many players would be reporting sick or injured. These guys are competitors and no one wants to be associated with a losing team. They now have the losing fever and winning is the only cure. Unfortunately there are no doctors in the house to fix this. Even if we pull out a win in TB, I think we're going 4-4 at best for the rest of the season.
Interesting that one of the Cowboys most durable players thus far this season is Darren McFadden.
Seems awfully convenient for your sentiment that they all be the same way.
you had to write that, didn't you.
This season is making me sick.
I'd forgotten about practice today. This thread reminded me. Now, I wish it had stayed forgotten.

It amuses me that people think players are going to stop coming to practice for an NFL team if the team is losing. As if job security at this level means nothing. As if Brice Butler doesn't want more than anything to take snaps or a game day position away from Devin Street. As if Rod Smith gets to Dallas and is like "yeah, we're losing, I'm really not going to try to solidify my spot on this roster because it seems boring."
Seriously, guys. At least try to make the gloom reasonable. Or, failing that, entertaining.
That's what I have been saying. Half these guys "tanking" or who have "quit", aren't even guaranteed to be on the roster in December, let alone next season. No one is tanking and Garrett has not lost this team--yet. That's coming from someone who has been vocal about how underwhelmed I am by Garrett and this staff. I just don't think the team is at that point yet. I see too much fight out on the field still to believe that.
The walking wounded. Anybody remembers when Parcells would get on Julius Jones butt for tapping his helmet during a game? These dudes nowadays miss practice with an ingrown toe nail or a infected armpit hair. Ridiculous.
