Dez had been replaced been replaced by a top 5 WR.

Like 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon, all problems can be traced back to Dez underperforming.

At least 2 critical plays where the ball touched both of his hands and he failed to catch it. The problems are numerous.

His improper routes and mis-timed jumps make it appear to be Dak's fault but with slow motion you can see it's almost always a screw up by Dez.

If the #1 WR is easily single-covered, then other receivers will struggle. If receivers struggle then defenses load up against the run.

When the offense struggles, the very young defense struggles because they play too many snaps.

When the above happens, the coaches and players start pressing. When they press, the coaches don't force the punt retuner to fair catch like they did much of last season. The result is a turnover.

With Antonio Brown or Julio Jones the Cowboys could start buying the polish for their Super Bowl trophy and rings.

The defense will get better as the season progresses. They are super young.

The OL will start to jell as they have more time with the new players.

Any bad teams with a good WR in the last year of his contract?

Maybe when Rico returns he can be a spark plug on offense to overcome the Dez albatross.

It's sad that one player has likely doomed this team and it's the highest paid player.

Dez makes TO in his elder years look athletic and dominant.

Dez is drawing double coverage so that kind of defeats your argument.

Also, let's go trade Dez for Cooper. Oh wait he's been awful. Does he suddenly suck now too?

You're embaassing yourself with lies and an agenda.

I also wouldn't characterize an offense that put up 30 points as "struggling."

Certainly had an ugly 2nd half but when we put up 23 in the first were you complaining about the struggling offense?

Or did Dez become a huge liability only in quarters 3 and 4?

Dez and Dak are very clearly not on the same page. It's painful to watch any pass to Dez any more. Whats worse is most of the time they feel forced. I complained about that week one and 4 weeks later still do.

Come on X, they got their pants absolutely pulled down in Denver. They werent winning that game if they had Staubach in his prime under center in that one.

Were you crying into a spreadsheet on Dez's td against the Cardinals?

What about that play made Dez look unatheltic and someone lacking explosion?

I'm always glad to see us score. That includes when Dez scores. Having said that, Dez has sucked pretty much all year long.

That's not what I asked you. Your post was a shot at Dez's athleticism and explosion.

Nobody who saw him juke Patterson out of his shoes and then bowl through 4 Cardinals defenders would say what you did unless they have an agenda.

The more I watch him play he reminds me more of a possession WR with an ability{to sometimes}win the jump ball. Certainly not tier 1.

Welcome to the band wagon with us. There is plenty of room for you. It's a growing fraternity of enlightened people.

I'm with you X. I've been complaining about him for weeks. He doesn't have it anymore folks. Put your homer glasses away. Use your real eyes. I loved Dez. But I loved TO at one time as well. He then quit on a route and I started a I'm done with TO thread...(look it up in the archives it went on forever that thread). I feel the same about Dez. He's hurting this team. His talent has dropped immensely. He can't even when 50/50 jump balls anymore. That pass through his hands today?? Come on now!

Maybe not, but if they get out to a better start that game could have been close.
