Cowboys Undefeated if

Do.Not.Care

U and the rest of the Dez-haters can play stupid if you want to.

Continue to skip the games and read the stat sheets after...
I've already re-watched today's game twice and I'll watch the All-22 this week.

Dez could have 10catches for 150 yards and 3scores and this goofball OP would post something stupid about him hurting us..

This guy has got to be kidding with this crap.

No way this is serious.

Yeah we lost the game because of dez. Lol didn’t know dez was Ryan switzer. Learn something new everyday!

That's the thing about jumping to conclusions after only 4 games....you make a fool out of yourself....Julio has been even worse than Dez lol.
JJ draws double coverage.

Dez got out muscled by 5-10, 190 Janoris Jenkins and it's been worse with some other CBs.

Dez had been replaced been replaced by a top 5 WR.

Like 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon, all problems can be traced back to Dez underperforming.

At least 2 critical plays where the ball touched both of his hands and he failed to catch it. The problems are numerous.

His improper routes and mis-timed jumps make it appear to be Dak's fault but with slow motion you can see it's almost always a screw up by Dez.

If the #1 WR is easily single-covered, then other receivers will struggle. If receivers struggle then defenses load up against the run.

When the offense struggles, the very young defense struggles because they play too many snaps.

When the above happens, the coaches and players start pressing. When they press, the coaches don't force the punt retuner to fair catch like they did much of last season. The result is a turnover.

With Antonio Brown or Julio Jones the Cowboys could start buying the polish for their Super Bowl trophy and rings.

The defense will get better as the season progresses. They are super young.

The OL will start to jell as they have more time with the new players.

Any bad teams with a good WR in the last year of his contract?

Maybe when Rico returns he can be a spark plug on offense to overcome the Dez albatross.

It's sad that one player has likely doomed this team and it's the highest paid player.

Is this serious?

Yes, we could start polishing our SB trophy if Jones or Brown could also play S, LB and maybe DE.

Oh and maybe call plays on D too.

LOL. You guys overrate how close this team is to being elite.

Cool, he made a highlight play.

Now if only we could get that effort on the majority of his routes.
You do get that effort....but the "media" tells you that he doesn't........

And I wasn't giving Dez a cookie by bringing that up....some poster said "He can't juke anyone" or along those lines when just a week ago he broke someones ankles. The Dez criticism is a joke. We scored 30 today. I don't want to hear about the offense today. I'm not gonna fault these guys for not putting up 50 points. 30 should be more than enough.

I'm not talking about what the "media" says....a poster above just posted the video.....you don't see the corner that got his ankles broke?
Seriously, that's what you call "getting his ankles broke" (broken)?

If that is ankle breaking, then there is no superlative extreme enough for what Beasley does to DB's ankles.

I think this is why so many people are pissed off today.

The same guys did this in 2007 and kept thinking this team was a legit contender. There are certain characteristics you need to contend consistently in this league. I think the Cowboys can get there.....but this team took a step back letting the defense go. And I don't fault them for it. It was the right move. Do it now while you still have Dak and Zeke still young.......but having such a young team....it is going to hurt. Its going to hurt very bad. People can try and blame Dez or Dak or whoever they want too......this defense and offensive line have been the story of this season.

Uhhh.....Beasley does break ankles too. He surely hasn't done it this season. But he does it too.

Dez is running plenty of lazy routes, but i still think Witten is the one needing replacement. Teams have zero fear of him.
Witten is OK if they had a true #1 WR but the combination of the two brings the speed of the receiving unit down too much.

Want to contend?

Let this young team grow with a new staff.

The pieces aren't necessarily the issue. Wasting anymore years on this staff is a tragedy however.

Only Dez and Witten are on the decline.

The defense is very young but is getting better with experience. Losing Lee as the field general was too much with Hitchens already out. The LBs are the brains of a Marinelli defense.

The OL is still young as well as Dak and Zeke. Beasley and TWill are in their prime. Two WRs are rookies. They have a potential TE threat when Rico returns and Hanna looked decent today.

League wide the refs just aren't calling illegal contact that much and that's a problem for somebody like Dez. And he and Dak have been off. On the one deep pass that was broken up by a Rams defender I think they were off. There was another play where I think Dak made the poor read and Dez settled in the zone when Dak threw it for a go route.

But, let's better prioritize the issues. The defense gave up 22 points in the second half...at home.

We have struggled to be strong on defense at home for over 20 years. It killed Romo's/Ware's/Witten's/Dez's/Lee's chances at getting to the Super Bowl and I can see it ruining Dak's/EE's/Beasley's/etc. chances as well.

Again...this happened at home. I can understand some bad games on defense on the road. But I think we are a better defense on the road than we are at home and it's still not very good.
