Julio Jones = 30 targets
Dez Bryant = 40 targets
Julio= Playing with an accurate QB whos been his qb now for 6 years
Dez= Playing wit an inaccurate QB who airmails passes ten yards over his head on a weekly basis

Dez had been replaced been replaced by a top 5 WR.

Like 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon, all problems can be traced back to Dez underperforming.

At least 2 critical plays where the ball touched both of his hands and he failed to catch it. The problems are numerous.

His improper routes and mis-timed jumps make it appear to be Dak's fault but with slow motion you can see it's almost always a screw up by Dez.

If the #1 WR is easily single-covered, then other receivers will struggle. If receivers struggle then defenses load up against the run.

When the offense struggles, the very young defense struggles because they play too many snaps.

When the above happens, the coaches and players start pressing. When they press, the coaches don't force the punt retuner to fair catch like they did much of last season. The result is a turnover.

With Antonio Brown or Julio Jones the Cowboys could start buying the polish for their Super Bowl trophy and rings.

The defense will get better as the season progresses. They are super young.

The OL will start to jell as they have more time with the new players.

Any bad teams with a good WR in the last year of his contract?

Maybe when Rico returns he can be a spark plug on offense to overcome the Dez albatross.

It's sad that one player has likely doomed this team and it's the highest paid player.
If he was 10 feet taller he could have caught those passes in the 4th quarter that sailed over his head when he beat his man to right? I guess we all see what we want.

The one thing that’s clearly evident about Dak is if the WR isn’t WIDE OPEN he doesn’t trust his arm or them. He doesn’t give anyone a chance. Tight window throws or anticipation is something you’d want to see in a 2nd year QB. Those plays are very evident. That missed corner throw to witten in the first half is either something you’re born with or not. In the NFL that’s WIDE OPEN It is not something practice can fix.

Much better at this last year. He had some really impressive throws last year.

This year? Something is off. No idea what.

He cut routes short. You don't see that with the other receivers.

I am not a Bryant fan...but the defense gave up 42 and 35 points in the 2 loses. That should be looked at first.
2 turnovers in Rams game. Deduct 7 for the ST miscue and 3 or 7 for the INT.

Pretty sure OC's are paid to design plays to get there receivers open, I could be wrong here though.

By the way, if you can't admit Dez, around the 5 yard line, juked Peterson to the point he buckled his knees, than you look pretty darn foolish.

If you call that breaking his ankles, then you have not watched Beasley.

10 yards because Dez ran the wrong route.

The ball is the air and the WR has to judge it similar to catching a punt. Dez jumped too soon.

On the first video Dez is not looking back when Dak throws it.

Disagree strongly.Dez was wide open so many times but either Dak missed him or never looked his way.
