This has ALWAYS been the easieast solution. The silver pants that go with the blue jersey should be the standard pant. Then, make the white jersey the exact opposite of the blue jersey - navy blue numbers and stripes with COWBOYS written below the neck and the stars on the shoulders. It's just that simple.

I think this is kind of what he was going for, but with a few modern touches.

He matches all the blues and the pants to the helmet. And although I'm not crazy about the shade of the helmet and pants, it's an improvement over the current mess we have for our white unis.

But, yeah ideally the example you posted is what I'm looking for (maybe without the gray outline on the numbers though).

The navy jersey and gray numbers looks too much like the Raiders black jerseys. I say just make the pants silver silver and just bring back the old royal blue with white numbers & letters. Either that or just simplify the blue ones we have now by taking the star off the sleeves and leaving two silver stripes.

If they want to see the best Cowboy uni ever, go look at our unis 40+ years ago.

This was my thought too. They are trying to reinvent the wheel....it's fine as is. If it's not broken, don't try to fix it.

I thought maybe it was a nod to Jerry's descent into Al-dom.

Proof that not all uni redesigns are bad: Jesse Alkire redesigned all of the NFL uniforms using minimalist design principles. I think they look pretty good. Spoiler: he got rid of our green pants. The uni redesign doesn't look too different than our current unis, which is a good thing IMO.

The dark uniforms are too dark. I love the ones we have now. The rest of it is pretty good overall.

I like the away jersey but black should be replaced with dark/navy blue. Not terrible, but the home jerseys should have more silver(ish) tint instead of that blue/green we've been accustomed to.
