How many games will he play for $5.5M? I've always liked Von Miller, but he's a decade past his prime. Non-prime Miller is still pretty good...if he can stay healthy. Maybe his biggest contribution will be teaching technique to the young pass rushers on the team.

It’s actually less than I expected. He was probably offered a little more elsewhere, but this is where he wants to be. He has made enough to be able to do that.

It might, brother. He knows the system that Parker is installing so I'm sure that's one the reasons he was brought in was to help our younger players like DMO, JaiB, Malachi, EZ and Shemar James. I don't think he needs to mentor Downs because I think that dude already gets it.

I still think people have no idea what Dallas was paying some guys last year lol. By cap hit in 2025:

Donovan Wilson - $8.5m
Kenneth Murray - $7.5m
Dante Fowler - $6m

I hope he has some more left in the tank. Otherwise it's a great move. It's good to actually have someone who's won a SB show some of these young players how it's done.

If I were the Cowboys I would use him VERY sparingly in the first half of each game (and the season for that matter) and then put him in fresh on obvious passing downs in the second half and let him get to the QB.

Him playing fresh vs guys who are slightly gassed would maximize his value to the team.

He actually did better overall than Clowney did last season.

I especially like that Miller’s numbers were pretty consistent throughout the season whereas Clowney padded his numbers in a meaningless 3-sack game.
