***Cowboys vs 49ers Post Game thread***

A bridge to nowhere?
I can say Romo killed us today, but the play calling inside the 3 yd line was nothing short of preposterous.
Run until they stop you.

Well, it was nice knowing you guys.

LOLOLOLOL!!!! :)

I missed judged the 49ers. They are still good enough for a wild card/2nd place in NFC West

This game was winnable, so long as the offense did their part and played well.

That didn't happen. The quarterback was off the reservation, shaky, inaccurate, and played in a skittish, compromised manner. I don't think Romo is 100% - after watching him play today, I sure hope that's the case, otherwise there could be a bigger problem at play here. Tyron Smith played his worst game as a Cowboy. Travis Frederick was an absolute stud today. DeMarco Murray ran hard, but his fumble set the tone for the day.

The defense competed hard, and the front seven played solid football. Rolando McClain played well today, and Jeremy Mincey, Bruce Carter, and Davon Coleman all had their moments. The secondary was horrendous, and they really need to have Carr/Claiborne play up on the line of scrimmage - because both of them are completely lost in man off or zone coverage.

Next week against Tennessee will be a very tough game. If Romo is less than 100%, then he needs to sit this one out.

Part of me says it's just one game.

However, the fact Romo looked like crap and a multiple of reasons could be the reason why including his previous injury.

If Romo can rebound then I'm not that worried.

It is one game. I don't think we'll go winless, but I see us losing next week and afterward getting a win against the Rams. I hope.

Your front seven overall did a good job against the run and pressuring Kap. It's a definite improvement over last year. When Romo settles in you'll be fine. I don't see any team in the NFC East that's going to give you guys problems.

Please, I know you're just playing nice but the Cowboys will be lucky to win 6 games this year.

Lol

Was that Garrett standing on our sidelines or just a cardboard cutout of him?

Facial expression never moved. He had no reaction to anything, except to clap and smile in the 4th quarter when we failed to convert, .. down by 11.

He is no leader.

are just trying to be smart@*** because you have a real football team and head coach. I wish I had your wishful thinking about how the cowboys are right now.

What does he do?

Yes you are a Niners fan and don't watch us very often do you? You are too kind. Cowboys are not a professional caliber team right now.

The NFC East is not very good. Yeah I'm using last year as a barometer but RG3 still doesn't look like the RG3 of two years ago. Philadelphia doesn't strike fear in anybody. The Giants are not what they once were. Winning the NFC East is not a pipe dream. Yes Romo looked terrible but Murray was getting some very good runs. I can't remember the last time my Niners gave up 100 on the ground to a RB around halftime. There are some positives out of this game. Romo is capable of putting up a lot of points through the air. I wouldn't throw in the towel just yet.

It has nothing to do with throwing in the towel, we know this team better than you and they are not winning this division.

I would not bet against it at this point though. The whole division is dog poop from top to bottom and we just might smell the best :lmao:

I don't care if they are smiling, clapping, looking lost or throwing a fit.... Cause when they are losing they all look stupid on the sidelines.

Here is someone with fire and showing he is mad....

While his team is getting it's but stomped last year.

Sorry, not going to sugar coat it for you............................in all likelihood we lose next week against a Titans team that looked dam good today going into Arrowhead and blowing out the Chiefs.

The Chiefs are very overrated. I think the Cowboys will give the Titans a good game next week if Romo plays like 2013 Romo and not 2012.

Should have at least been a competitive game but we gift wrapped it and put a nice bow on it.

These are the types of games that, if they become the norm, get people fired. Garret has survived so far bc the Boys never quit and always put up a fight if they do many more of these I don't see Garrett surviving the season

Romo was bad. Really bad. Eli bad.
But a fumble returned for a TD is also potentially a 14 point swing.
Team game but the turnovers were killer...and the D needs together a turnover or two, ideally.

That play honestly reminded me of this past superbowl game. Broncos immediately gave up that turnover (safety I think?) and the rest of the game they looked shell shocked as things continued to mushroom.

Would have to agree that this game was a winnable game had our offense done their point when it mattered. Very frustrating.
