***Cowboys vs 49ers Post Game thread***

Please, I know you're just playing nice but the Cowboys will be lucky to win 6 games this year.

are just trying to be smart@*** because you have a real football team and head coach. I wish I had your wishful thinking about how the cowboys are right now.

Your front seven overall did a good job against the run and pressuring Kap. It's a definite improvement over last year. When Romo settles in you'll be fine. I don't see any team in the NFC East that's going to give you guys problems.

Bizzarro world, where the 49er fans are trying to keep the Cowboys fans from throwing their own under the bus. How far we've sunk...and I'm not referring to the team here.

Well you should be talking about the team, fans have nothing to do with the crap that is being put out on the field.

I talk about the team plenty, but the fans are a fair topic, too, on a message board.

Didn't say fans weren't a fair topic, just saying the garbage that is being put out on the field is what people should be focusing on rather than what people are posting on a message board.

love how everyone in the organization are trying to seel us on how good the 49ers are.

That team, as it stood today, would have been beaten at home today by any decent team. No Bowman, no Smith, CB's all banged up, no Dorsey...

What garbage? Take away the turnovers and its a good game one we might have very well won. Go look up the stats on QBs having those kinds of days and you'll see lots of good QBs with them including some in the HOF; more than a few.

That doesn't excuse Romo's mistakes. Just because others sucked on occasion isn't an excuse. But it shows the situation isn't unique amongst players. What's worrisome is his passes had nothing on them.

The defense wasn't bad considering how many turnovers they had to deal with. You guys need to understand that today's environment isn't conducive to stopping the pass very well.

Why not? You act like this team are above someone giving us problems.

The Jaguars will give us problems.

Who cares if you don't see the Cowboys winning. So that's and 0-2 start...like it happened already. Do us all a favor and skip the game next week and come back in two weeks because you must be 100 % correct.

Some fans can't handle adversity and think what happens in one week will continue into the next and so on. I think we bounce back and there's a lot more precedent to that tbh.

Bounce back.
No bounce.

Repeat.

Equals 8-8 ... If we are lucky.

No thanks.

Fffffin joke!

When the management that they have consistently endorsed delivers an embarrassment on the field like last night's, their only recourse is to attack the "bad fans" that are simply observing the obvious.

There was a lot more garbage on that field other than the turnovers.

Tony's inaccuracy on ALL throws, horrid play calls, defense bailed out by questionable penalties, secondary letting guys run wide open all day.

Titans looked tough as far as I can see by checking out the score. Will look much closer this week before the game. Opening day...I just couldn't stomach watching Tenn @ KC

I missed the game (will watch it tonight) so I will refrain from commenting on the outcome. What I will say, though, is that early last week I mentioned that turnovers would dictate the outcome of the game because neither team looked prepared to open the season.

I also commented that the entire pre-season -- eerily reminiscent of Campo training camps -- lacked a sense of urgency given all the guys sitting out (Tony included) and not getting valuable reps. I said that this team will be better as the season progress but, unless they protect the football, they will find it difficult to find wins until the defense solidifies. I'm holding to this thought.

I don't care if they are smiling, clapping, looking lost or throwing a fit.... Cause when they are losing they all look stupid on the sidelines.

Here is someone with fire and showing he is mad....

While his team is getting it's but stomped last year.

Well, I can't tell what game that was or what was actually going on at the time, .. and I am no Holgorsen fan, .. but at least he is engaged with the game, at least he is showing some passion and emotion about what is going on, at least he is showing disappointment and disapproval about what is going on on the field.
You may not like the direction he is leading the team but he is involved, and a big part of it, .. that is HIS team!

You have cherry-picked one moment in time that is the extreme opposite of JG to try and prove a point.
There is a large gap between throwing your headset and standing like a cardboard cut-out.

Garrett looks like he is watching his first football game and trying to keep up, .. trying to figure out what is actually happening. Not what I want to see from the head coach. By standing motionless, expressionless, he isn't leading in any direction.

He is a nice guy, but not a leader of men.

I think his record and the teams performance over his tenure has proven that.

"Hi guys, how we doing today?"

I was not cherry picking a thing, it was the only gif I had of him but if you watched all of last year you would have seen him doing that many times on the sidelines.

When a coach is getting their teams butts kicked they will often do something that draws the ire of the fan base...whether that be acting a fool on the sidelines by throwing and breaking the head set or pulling a Jason with little to no emotion.

I don't care if it is a great coach, a mediocre coach or a down right terrible coach...when their teams are getting trounced they all look stupid on the sidelines...and rightfully so because their team is getting killed.

Makes no difference if they are jumping up and down, standing in place clapping or what they are doing.

Oh, my comment was not just about yesterday, he always looks out of place. He is not a leader. Think about the nature of men that you have followed, they had something that JG does not possess.
