Game Day ***Cowboys vs 49ers post game thread***

[Zman5]

Defense played as well as I could hope for. I thought if they got one TO and kept the Niners under 24, we would win.
Once again, the offense comes up short.

I don't want KM back. His inexperience shows up against better DCs. He has too bunch JG's stink with him still. The defense made big strides this year with a new DC. We need to do the same with the offense.

[baltcowboy]

The run defense was terrible the first half. They deserve mention. Why did it take so long to offer any resistance?

True but the defense held up in the 2nd half. Stopped the 49ers and gave the number 1 offense the ball back with a chance to win the game. The 49ers lost 3 defensive players and their secondary is garbage. Dak gets 75 million this season and played like he is worth 7.50.

Plenty of blame to go around. Zeke has looked done for awhile. He can do some good, but he can't break anything to save his life. I only wanted Pollard because he's capable of going the distance. Zeke is not.

You aren't listening.

We need to run MORE....so call MORE running plays and give them to Pollard.

12 plays isn't stealing much. Zeke's touches are just fine. It;'s a sin Pollard doesn't have 5-10 more and it ain't Zeke's fault. So cut that silliness sheesh!

[Cebrin]

It's a reach. We lost because we're dumb and commit dumb penalties. That's really all there is to it.

I didn't say he cost us the game. That's a reach. I just said he's sus. I stated in my original post that penalties cost us the game. I hope Connor, Kellen, and MM are all working the drive through window at Long Johns next week. Bums.

[morat1959]

I see lots of folks bashing MM and KM. We are a couple O-lineman and QB from making a real run. Gotta do something about the penalties!

[jsb357]

same playoff exit as the raiders and eagles

[BigD5]

This team was not beating Tampa.

Nope. Tom Brady is too smart to get beat in the playoffs by these morons

Make that trade for DeShaun Watson!

[stinkface]

I sadly am not surprised. Penalties have killed us all year and it killed us tonight. We need smarter players or smarter coaches or both.

PS. Our crowd gets 2 thumbs up. They were great today.

Same old Cowboys!

Inexcusable loss at home, team not prepared, undisciplined, mistake prone and simply not good enough.

They deserved to lose and round and round we go...

"I need to get better, and I will get better"......"I need to get better, and I will get better"......"I need to get better, and I will get better"......"I need to get better, and I will get better"......"I need to get better, and I will get better"......"I need to get better, and I will get better"......"I need to get better, and I will get better"......"I need to get better, and I will get better"......"I need to get better, and I will get better"

Who could you be referring to? LOL By the way I agree.

Since Dallas has an elite quarterback hopefully Jerry trades him.

Reality is, this is a problem thats been going on for years

[DaleMc]

So, for the sake of argument, Fire MM who is the next Head Coach?, please don't say Kellen Moore, I have see that show before, the Jadon Garrett failure

[nate dizzle]

That is the tip of the iceberg, isn't it? Coaching and play calling (K MORON) are the root cause.

Don't leave out QB play. Because that's a big piece of that pie

Unfortunately we’re stuck with this QB. And we need some run stoppers. And some linebackers. And a new couch and offensive scheme

[lsg13]

After that debacle, he kind of has to fire him.

Looks, it's not the head coach, repeat after me, it's not the head coach... there's one common denominator, it's the GM... Fire the GM and the team can move on... he runs every aspect of the team.

[Sonicxtacy02]

All the people that are saying fire the head coach, WHO DO YOU THINK THEY'RE GOING TO REPLACE HIM WITH? #S.O.S

[jokercard]

I’d easily take DQ over fat Mike in a heartbeat if that were an option.

[Floatyworm]

The ref has to touch the ball before it can be snapped. And so we call a running play up the middle with seconds left on the clock and then blame the ref for not moving at lightning speed to get it set up. No it’s not the refs fault it’s the fault of the stupidest play call That could’ve possibly been made in that situation.

Actually you can blame said dumb ***.....since he screwed us a 2nd time with the delay of game penalty. Funny how people try and defend what everyone knows....the league has a huge problem....they make up rules as they go. Why the clock wasn't stopped so the ref could spot the ball is a problem. How many times did that ref stop play not allowing us to snap the ball in our hurry up????? Did it all day long....It was total BS.

Have to admit it was an entertaining yet but we all knew in our heart of hearts we weren't going anywhere given poor coaching, poor play calling and lack of heart by this team. I am glad to have this site for therapeutic reasons with all you fans; I enjoyed it more than some of the games. Talk to you all next year! GO COWBOYS!!!!
