Nobody denies that we should have won more games this year. But we were largely unlucky to lose so many 1 score games.

Unless you just hate math and think that things like luck don't matter.

Lol now we have to add bad luck to Garretts long list of excuses.

But I keep forgetting this is the only year that Garrett hasn't been good and all those other years he was making the playoffs, making great decisions, and winning big games.

Never thought we would revisit 5-11 again but the team still needs to win the season finale just equal the worst season under Dave Campo.

One would think that in such cases the team might win half of those games. Instead we won almost none of them. That's not bad luck....

Which the more you watch Garrett, especially this year, it becomes crystal clear how much Romo has to carry this offense under Garrett.

In retrospect it truly is a miracle what Romo is able to do with this team in spite of a sub par offensive coaching staff.

No team over an extended period has shown that they can consistently win more than 50% of 1 score games. We went something like 1-8 in those situations this year.

That is unlucky.

But feel free to be fooled by randomness.

Especially since this "terrible coaching staff" won thosee same games last season.

How do you know? None of these QBs are jumping off the charts, as a matter of fact it sounds like a lot of analysts are trying to talk people into picking these guys.

There was so much nastiness going on behind the scenes at that time, Wade had no chance. But i've always felt he got way too much blame when things went downhill. Too bad we couldnt keep him on staff as DC

One could make the same argument about winning a bunch of 1 score games in our 12-4 season last year, including a fluke non-PI call in our playoff win.

Well coached teams in this league are not as dependent on luck as we seem to be.

Coaching is usually the difference in those one score games.

Would not put it past Snyder to order his staff to lose just to drop our draft pick. Also wouldn't put it past Garrett to take the bait and win a meaningless game against a tanking team trying to screw his draft pick.
