What about the 8-8 seasons? Last I checked he had Romo

Going off what Garrett has done last year, and this, without Romo (1 win without Romo in the lineup) I'd say that means Romo was worth a minimum of 21 wins over those 3 years, on his own. Can you imagine how bad those 8-8 teams would have been without Romo? 1 win teams? Maybe 2?

Garrett is simply not a good coach.

Yeah, but it's still a reach. I think you find solid later in the draft. At 4, you want a stud.

I agree. I would rather take somebody who can make an immediate impact at 4, then get somebody "solid" like a Connor Cook in the second or third round. There simply isnt a ton of talent in the QB pool this year.

No team over an extended period has shown that they can consistently win more than 50% of 1 score games. We went something like 1-8 in those situations this year.

That is unlucky.

But feel free to be fooled by randomness.

Especially since this "terrible coaching staff" won thosee same games last season.

Again fooled by randomness.

Randomness is your excuse? Why are some teams with good coaches good every year then?

And if your answer is they don't play a lot of one score games then maybe we need a coach who doesn't putt putt all game hoping the game stays close for that 50-50 lottery draw.

And BTW in 2014 when we got hot late in the season we were blowing people out, not squeaking out lucky wins.

Garrett has one good season where the run game and Romo had career years and even he couldn't blow it. He stinks.

One could make the same argument about winning a bunch of 1 score games in our 12-4 season last year, including a fluke non-PI call in our playoff win.

Well coached teams in this league are not as dependent on luck as we seem to be.

That's you not really paying attention and being biased.

We went 6-2 in one score games last year. Including our playoff win.

And the teams that seem to be good every year are those who don't lose their QBs.

That's pretty simple.

I think this year has proven that Tony Romo went 6-2 in those 1 score games in spite of this coaching staff.

I don't know how much more evidence people honestly need to see that.

I look at it differently. I think Romo is indeed worth 8 points a game to this team. That flips all those losses to wins. Coaching staff still had to position us to be competitive with below replacement level qb play.

Colts and Texans are 8-7 with a playoff shot without their QBs. In fact they have one of our failures.

Just lucky I guess.

Carry on you're deluded and I'm not gonna try to stop ya. Kinda wish I was there with you lol
