They wanted to get closer but I think it was a huge mistake by the AZ coach. Should've kicked the FG between the 20-30 at least then the onsides.

Linehan and Garrett scare me. They don't go for the jugular when they have a team down. 3rd and 5, a first down really finishes off Arizona at the end and they go all conservative. Throw Beasly or TW a slant and end it. Arizona takes the ball and drives it on us at the end. This offense is VANILLA and so predictable. With all the weapons we have they are not creative. Wish we had a good offensive coach with the weapons we have.

Honestly, our offense looks like crap when we force the ball to Dez over and over. Yeah Id like him to see it more but whatever, if hes commanding extra attention Butler and Twilly are handling business.

I agree. The play calling is not creative. I've almost given up that it ever will be with this coaching staff. But when I see Elite Qbs throwing to wide open players because of rub routes I think to myself Dak can do that. Forcing Dez the ball is different than finding ways to get him the ball. Get Noah to block on a screen, Slant and go, ANYTHING to get D coordinators to think twice about loading up against run. Last week Dak missed some throws to Dez that if completed would've change a lot of people's thoughts on that.

our third down play calling has been terrible so far this year, I don't know maybe its because the 1st and 2nd down plays are also bad

At the risk of derailing this thread, Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have Proposed and implemented a solution to the contreversial topic at hand tonight.

Agreed. I'm one that's been offended by players kneeling during the anthem. But this is a great solution! Kneeling in solidarity, respecting the country.
