Same old crud, just a different year. Sloppy, unprepared, out coached and unmotivated in a game everyone told them they would win going away. No maturity at all. Can't handle the responsibility of success, so they lose to sucky teams.

This type game is the reason I miss Jimmy Johnson the most. You literally feared playing poorly. Or better yet, with lack of energy.

I find it funny that MM did everything he could to avoid letting Dak pass the ball on that last drive and then Dak threw an INT.

steve's a hater but he's hiding under the hater hat.... this was 100% on the defense especial teams the penalties and the play calling. nobody can get open and they blame h.... the game was pretty much over anyway. yup that steve ,he tries to hide that he's not a hater he's 100% a hater...

I'm with Infamous. 49ers are just too physical on both sides of the ball. Anything can happen as we saw this week, but 49ers in my opinion are bettern than our Boys even before going into this game and the game is in San Francisco. I hope they prove me wrong but the character of the team is suspect as we saw today.

Inability of this offense to convert red zone opportunities into tds remains.
Regardless of playcaller.
The lack of discipline shown on double digit penalties continues.
And the trusty old can't stop the run monster reared it's ugly head again.
I was fooled into thinking they had really improved on this.

BUT I'll be here next week still rooting to break our 28 year curse.

give me missing 3 pro bowl offensive ....d of the game and now it's all on him?? no that makes you 100% a hater becaus....oints in the first half and the story.... then you add all the penalties and the bad play calling& ,the special teams offsides... and somehow it circles back to prescott. it's 100% not on him.

Dak is scared to throw down field unless it's a fade. He's been this way for a while now, and last year he tried to be more aggressive and threw for 15 INTs. This front office has no clue about QBs, they just don't. Gotta name me one thing Prescott does ELITE on the field. I can't think of one.

I disagree. We've lost to them in the playoffs two years in a row and I think the Cowboys play terrific and win that game. Every team has at least one game in a long season that gets away. Not making excuses but in the NFL anybody can beat anybody on any given Sunday. Prognosticating doom and gloom after one loss early in the season? The best is yet to come.

We still would've lost and deservably so, but that doesn't excuse that horrible non-call.

The missing players are not why they lost. That is coming from fandom emotion. They were out coached and outplayed.

If it was indeed a team loss, which means it can't be fixed by the addition of a great player or two, you would need a new coach, qb, 2 (at least) OL players, better DTs as well.

Playoffs? Possible. SB? Shelve that for this year, not just for now.
