This team went 8-8 last year with a horrible defense...now, this year's offense looks even better, so if this defense could just rise to the level of mediocre we would have a serious shot a making the playoffs...pretty darn sad realization if you ask me...

unfortunately the formula is not that simple. the schedule is much more difficult this year and the division is better.
