We really need to get a new OC in here. With all of the stops the defense has been making and the talent the offense has, this game shouldn't be close.

Not sure there's any universe where a game like this is 'not close.' This is a pretty dang good Chiefs team we're outplaying here so far today.

He's played well and I haven't seen his stats. He's thrown it away when he should have which is a big plus in my book.

Monitoring the game thread is horrible, some of you lack some basic football IQ. We are in a hostile environment, the second we start playing aggressive offense and it ends up in a turnover the same ones crying now will be crying for Romo/BC's head for forcing the issue. We have one turnover in 6 quarters, quit crying, SMART football.

From what I have seen over the first two games it looks like Romo's main priority is protecting the ball.

Romo is playing okay, but he needs to be more accurate on his passes. Dez's freakish ability bailed him out on the overthrow. And we could have had a first down on the last drive if he puts it in front of Witten, not behind.

But for not having a running game and playing against a vicious defense, he's played well.

We can put the Chiefs away if we go up 17-7. Cowboys D is on fire today.

KC has had the field position advantage.
Dallas has started at the 10 or worse 4-5 times today.
On the road, you tend to be careful down there or the game can get away from quickly.

while this is true (and i think you especially want to do this early in the game) if you keep playing too conservative the entire game because of poor field position it's going to come back and bite you.

agreed, it just feels like pulling teeth to get anything going in the running game and a lot of that has to do with being too predictable. Why not change things up? instead of passing on 1st down and run on 2nd down, change it up maybe? sheesh
