It did. I assure you. Check that replay they did. You can see turf/dirt fly up.

If turf flew up from his right toe touching they wouldn't have overturned the call. It has to be conclusive to overturn a call on the field. I saw the one replay and never saw his right toe touch. Even the commentators agreed with the overturn.
