Game Day ***Cowboys vs Eagles post game thread***

Please explain how the head coach lost this game?

The head coach is ultimately in charge. And it is his job, when the team loses its star, to make sure his team plays smart, shows discipline, and he needs to get more production out of his team than their talent level.

I'm still trying to figure out how we can improve the defense going QB, RB and WR with our first three picks next year.

Most of us can agree that the Cowboys started the season in the conversation for SB contenders. What bugs me is that if that was really true, there is no way this team should be losing 6 games in a row even without Romo. I SB caliber team should have enough talent to be able to scratch out a win or two in that time span.

I am beginning to think that maybe SB contender caliber team was a bit of a reach.

Same as 2010. No more SB talk. the Cowboys play better as underdogs.

We just lost six straight with two different backups; Landry Jones. Blaine Gabbert. Mike Vick. On and on and on. It's the coaching. Garrett is not the answer.

I stated that Gabbert has a better winning record than Weeden/Cassel, not quite sure how it implies that I am blaming or not blaming Garrett.

I defended this defense till now. The failures are many and the lack of turnovers alone are disturbing. I guess I blame Marinelli. He is the maestro of that side of the ball. Defense was supposed to be our strongest asset going into the current season but it just isn't. Players are under achieving making it painful for the few that aren't.

Pass rush is not fixed, no consistent pass rush, fail to set edge properly or overrun the QB.

DT's suck right now! Irving does flash.

LB's are either too fat, slow, hurt or too dumb!

Entire secondary sucks save Jones (who is up and down as a rookie but has promise).

Is anyone else beaten down by this franchise as a whole. I'm not just talking about this year but just the franchise as a whole for the last 10-15. It's like I don't have any feeling about this franchise anymore. I'm not mad or upset or anything just numb. I love Romo and Witten but man I am just ready to see some new players, coaches, everything to just start over with this franchise. I feel like everything about this team has run it's course. Like keeping expired milk in the refrigerator hoping it will get good again. I don't know anyone else feel this way.

I like how you people put any stock in what Garrett says to the media.

Why even get mad about it? He's going to give the same PC answers whether we win or lose.

Bash his coaching all you want, but don't get mad over his press conferences lmao. They don't matter at all.

actaully whn starting the season, Dallas was in SB contention til halftime. As i stated before that started, Dallas has got to make that a statement game and they chose not to. Regardless of the injuries and Romo, i knew it wasnt going to be the season everyone else dreamed of.

Good news is Cowboys merchandise will be going on clearance soon just in time for the holidays.
