I can't feel good about this team right now.

Riddle me this: If I told you before the game that we would play an Eagle team that had five defensive starters not even play, that the defense would be second and third stringers and special teams players, that their offense would sit their starting QB after three series, that their offensive line would have no starters in for the second half except one guy who was playing himself back into shape after an injury, that most of the game would have their back up WR's playing, that they played their 4th string RB for the second half...while at the same time our starters played almost the entire game, you'd think that we would win 40-0. Jesus, I thought they were about to let the guy filling the water bottles play the 4th quarter.

Why in the hell does Garrett still have a job??? He barely beat a team playing backup and special teams players almost the whole game!!!

That makes no sense. Going into the Rams game Vegas had him as the odds on favorite to win the MVP and Brady was 2nd. Brady had a bad game and Wentz had 4 TD's in 3 quarters. He had a large lead before the injury. Still leads the NFL in TD's

Thats a stupid statement....I have been a cowboys fan for 37 years and was born in Indiana. Just because you were born or live somewhere doesnt dictate what team you root for.....man eagles fans really are not very smart

I work with a gal that's a huge Eagle fan. She's from Illinois and has never been to Philly.

I also know a lot of folks not from Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Boston. Can they not be Packer, Steeler, or Patriot fans?

Being from Missouri, do I have to root for the Chiefs? The first pro sports team I ever saw in person was a Dallas Cowboy football game when I was eight. We lived in Oklahoma at the time and I grew to love the Cowboys then.

I know plenty of people who grew up as a fan of teams from other cities due to family influences. Mainly their parents.

According to you they are not true fans even though they may support as hard if not harder for those teams than the "home" grown fan. That's total BS.

Meh, I don't have a problem with them winning the game. As Herm Edwards said...."You play to win."

What sucks is that we struggled so badly to move the ball against a defense with 5+ plus starters out. And I know we were without Tyron and then Cooper went down, but the OL wasn't terrible given we were without two starters. Dak has to get a LOT better next year. He had a really poor season from a progression standpoint. He doesn't look any better at anything when compared to a year ago.

Our defense played well and pitched a shutout. While the Eagles had a few players out, I don't think it would have made much difference for them offensively.....I just don't think Foles is going to be able to drive the bus for them. He didn't look very good at all. Their receivers were inconsistent, just as they have been most of the season.

Moving on, I think we have to get a strong backup QB. Not sure if I would count on Rush to win games if Dak went down, although I really don't know what will be out there from a veteran standpoint. Not sure how much of a help Sanchez was last year, but it seemed like Dak did miss a veteran presence. Gonna have to decide on what to do at WR....I have always been in Bryant's corner but he just missed so many catches this year and certainly didn't stand up when the offense needed him. I am thijnking if it were my money I would let him walk and use free agency and draft to target a true #1. We obviously have to improve depth on the OL, especially if Cooper has a long term injury. Sucks for him.

I am guessing we might use a late rounder on a backup RB...say 4th rd or later.

On Defense I am excited about the young players for the first time in a long time. If we can improve the LB corps and add a few more pieces I think this can be a really good unit. A true NT type.
