If they grew up in Philly sure. But a MAN roots for his home team.

Look, I know you're hurting because your team has virtually no chance of winning a playoff game with Foles. I know you've probably had too much to drink. I know, based on your post, that you're from Philadelphia. You have 3 very good reasons to be upset. But maybe you should just step away from the keyboard and get some fresh air.

I can't feel good about this team right now.

Riddle me this: If I told you before the game that we would play an Eagle team that had five defensive starters not even play, that the defense would be second and third stringers and special teams players, that their offense would sit their starting QB after three series, that their offensive line would have no starters in for the second half except one guy who was playing himself back into shape after an injury, that most of the game would have their back up WR's playing, that they played their 4th string RB for the second half...while at the same time our starters played almost the entire game, you'd think that we would win 40-0. Jesus, I thought they were about to let the guy filling the water bottles play the 4th quarter.

Why in the hell does Garrett still have a job??? He barely beat a team playing backup and special teams players almost the whole game!!!

Can't argue w/ you there. Just goes to show this team mailed it in weeks ago...They have basically quit on this staff. Sad part is Jerry is in denial that a move needs to be made.:(

Somehow I don't feel like we're as good as our 9-7 record.
Agree.

I "feel" like we're a 5-11 team.

There's plenty to feel good about. The defense was a pleasant surprise. I'm excited for our secondary. If we can retain DLaw, then we have the makings of a solid DL rotation. We still have a very good OL, RBs, and kickers (Bailey will be fine).

I'm more than worried about Dak Prescott. I love his leadership and attitude. But he has the look of a "one year wonder". He needs to work hard this offseason. I'm worried about our depth at LB and OL. WR has completely fallen off the map. I think a new feature WR is a must.

If frogs could fly, they wouldn't bump their butts when they land. So what Wentz is hurt? That is the NFL.
No serious fan thinks this game is a metric of anything other than ending on a slightly higher note and beating Philly.

Its just if it was some random choosing of a team I'd understand. But then there would be just as many Cleveland Browns fans as Cowboys fans. Heres whats happened... one day you werent feelig very good and your self esteem was low and you said to yourself... I want to feel like a winner and even though I grew up in Indy, all my memories, family and friends are from Indy I'm gonna root for a city I have ABSOLUTELY no ties too.

Well no, I was ten when I became a Cowboys fan. I felt just fine.

And here is a new flash, you have absolutely NO ties to the Eagles. They don't know you, you don't know them. You root for them because everyone around you did. Did your dad play for the Eagles? Did you? What are these supposed ties you have to the team - other than getting drunk and cheering when the people around you cheered? If you want to get all psychobabble about it, maybe you just didn't know how else to fit in. Maybe you were a little lonely, and wanted others to like you. Works both ways, it's easy to create pretend scenarios that define someone else's fandom.

But it was just random. Had nothing to do with them being a great team right?
A man roots for his home team. If youre from Cleveland you rep the Browns. You dont say, "Man, we never win. Im gonna be a Patriots fan instead"... and thats exactly what you did. Just own up to it.

Our offense is soooo bad the cardinals are marching up and down the field on Seattle and we couldn’t do squat at home.
