How was he terrible. What did he do that was terrible in the 2nd half. Did he cost us the game in the 2nd half. The start of the 2nd half started with two penalties that killed that drive. From there the defense couldn't stop the Falcons. We also couldn't run the ball. What parts of those make Weeden to blame and Weeden is terrible?

Layed Witten out on a too high pass. Held the ball on the rd and 3 and took a sack. Every 3rd down was a checkdown to Dunbar when Atl had already taken it away, Down 11 with 3 min left, use 1:30 to get 20 yards, sacked on 3rd and 1, every completion he made would likely have been made by any PS QB. Checkdown to Dunbar, sideline to Beasley, Dig to Witten. If that is the gameplan/decision making, get a QB who can at least run.

All that said, that 1st qtr INT, s something you expect from a rookie down 10 points, not a 33 year old up 14. That alone is inexcusable

If that is what you are upset about with Weeden then you are expecting way too much from Weeden. And we're talking about the 2ND HALF. Most of what you are talking about happened in the 1st half.

-Weeden needs to make plays down the field at some point or teams are just going to stack the box like ATL did in the 2nd half.

-We still need a #2 WR. Every time T-Will doesn't drop the ball I'm pleasantly surprised.

-We need to get some guys back on the DL because Ryan had all day to throw.

The old MO and then the wheels fell off with the Weeden INt.

Weeden is one of the worst QBs I have seen, but I cannot possibly blame him for this loss. 28 points should be enough to win at home. Atlanta is NOT an offensive juggernaut. Just sayin'.

What's more concerning to me is that the coaching staff seemed to have prepared for this game with a game plan and left absolutely no room for adjustments. Did they not know that the Falcons would eventually counter what they were doing (short passes and dump offs). That still blows my mind.

People need to accept a few plats does not make a player a super star. The Weeden era is over, the rbbc needs to be revamped and next draft, now you need your qb and ball hawk safety. The Garrett way isn't working. We dont need to start witten, we dont need beasley, and what are doing with lucky?

Being the optimist that I am I had hope that Weeden would show improvement. Two years in the system, good coaching and all that. Nope. Same one dimensional player with a 'just don't screw it up' attitude that is very easy to game plan into failure. The only way he wins is if every other facet of the team plays perfect ball. Got to get Cassel ready and see what he brings to the table.

Next week is big for this team. Are they going to lay down and give up ? Or fight till we get reinforcements ?

I give them a Mulligan today.
No Hardy
No Mincey
No McClain
No Gregory
No Romo
No Dez

It was expected that a bunch of back ups on the DL would perform poorly.
They put up a fight early on,but wore out.

We are on to Cincinna...New Orleans...

39 points given up at home. The offense didn't help at all in the 2nd half but that's entirely too much.

the WRs are disappointing. Beasley does as much as he can, but TWill, Street? Is LUcky Whitehead even playing?
