Cowboys Vs Giants ***Game Thread***

I can understand some of the sacks not being on Bledsoe, but these bonehead decisions are making Testaverde look genius.

On last weeks prediction thread. I predicted the Cowboys would come out frightened, flat and uninspired. Such is the case.

I predicted at least 4 Bledsoe sacks. Check
I predicted an ineffective JJones (so far, 19 rushing yards). Check
I predicted no receiver with more than 60 yards. Check.

Some things I should have predicted but didn't: Poor safety play (TD, bad angle by RW on 3rd and 16. Red zone interception.

Damn, if only I could play the lottery this way!

On the bright side, TO and Bledsoe seem to be conversing in a civilized manner on the sideline for the most part.

Manning throws a 50 yard bomb for a TD to Burress to start the game. Play is aided by an official that takes out Roy Williams who had a chance to INT the ball.

Bledsoe is sacked four times.....once for a safety.

Giants drive for a FG.

Giants are driving for another score, but Newman intercepts the ball in the endzone. We drive for a Bledsoe romp into the endzone.

A Tiki fumble gives us the ball at the fifteen. Second and goal from the five had Bledsoe passing right to Sam Madison for the pick.

We almost have a pick six with Bradie, but he can't hang onto the ball.

We get the ball to start the half.

Bledsoe is no where near a play maker. He's a guy with a strong arm that's all. I know guys around my town with strong arms, that doesn't make them a great NFL passer.

We need to bench Bledsoe right now, period. If we lose, who cares! If I were BP, I would walk in the locker room and tell Bledsoe he's not starting for the rest of the year, he's had his chances.

I have to take my shot........It's very difficult to win when you have a QB that keeps squandering opportunities too score.

The thing is, it's not like it's only been 1 or even 2 games. Going back to last year, almost every big game we have played has been horrible for Drew. If we win this game, it will be despite Drew.

Bledsoe is a great guy (I assume) but, he's gotta go.

Yeah there was. We could of blocked the g'd blitzer.

Bledsoe never even look at anyone else...stared down that one side where Glenn was the entire time

we are absolutely hopeless against good teams or in close games with him at QB

Sorry you got it backwards there. First thing he did on the INT was look at TO, then came back and threw it to TG WITHOUT even really looking at him. If he had been looking at TG all the way, he might of seen that he was covered.


Stupid pass. Stupid play call. Should of ran it down their throats.

The ESPN coverage tonight is really hard to take.

Kornheiser keep saying the same crap over and over. He starts the game by telling us T.O. is the devil and he's monitoring his ever gesture. Kornheiser sucks..

Really, I do apologize, just too steamed at our QB and is ineffectiveness to play QB.

The O-line just let two people through for a sack (seperate sacks)...untouched.
One in the endzone resulting in a Saftey.

Bledsoe two times holding on to the ball WAY too long.

Run blocking is crap.

Defense has made some plays but given up some plays.

Newman gets an INT in the endzone.

D.Ware forces a fumble on Tiki in the redzone.

Bledsoe throws another TERRIBLE INT.

Brady James should have had an INT.

We are darn lucky only to be down by 5.

Well if all this Romo talk in Valley Ranch has any merit, a QB change will come very soon. If not today, then surely vs Carolina. What more has to happen on the field to show Bledsoe cant get it done????? I know Parcells is stubborn but even he has to be very close to pulling the trigger

Bledsoe sucks...I cant think of any veteran quaterback who would make that sloppy throw like that. Bench his butt cause our team isn't going anywhere with him. GO COWBOYS!!

Bledsoe and o-line doing as good as they can. Having fine games by their standards.

O-line only letting about 4 guys come through untouched so far and Bledsoe only throwing one pick at the goalline.

Hard.

Painful.

Frustrating.

I refuse to believe that we're going to lose this game - not with our defense playing like they're playing. Eli can get rattled just as easily as Bledsoe and even though Drew tossed an int that cost us points just now, he can still lead this team to a victory. It's halftime right now and time for our coaches to go to work and make adjustments. We're only down by 5 with the ball coming to us to start the 2nd half. Folks, we're still in this game, all you have to do is have a little faith.

I still believe in this team!

We ALL believe in the team. Most have lost the belief that Bledsoe can capitalize on the opportunities that the TEAM is giving him!
