I declared game over before, then 3 minutes later took it back and said we still had a chance, then 2 minutes after that stopped watching again (only to catch the final play after reading the comments here about how we were driving).

Shame on me indeed. I couldn't be happier to eat crow, and it tastes so good..

I had a feeling this one would be an ugly one as we found our footing. Our whole goal, as it should have been, was to make it through preseason as healthy as possible. I figured that might lead to a sloppy game in this first one, but we just needed to find a way to win it.
