Cowboys Vs Lions ***Game Thread***

I understand that...the defense is playing horrible, but a lot of people on here are already giving up on the team and already counting the game as a loss. We are still in the game...a comeback is not out of the question.

Unless the defense shows we are winning nothing

You realize they scored on 4 of 5 possessions and the only one they did not score on was the last 40 seconds of the half

I guess I saw that a little differently than troy. but it looked to me like Watkins was making aplay on the ball and his shoulder collided with the reciever at the ball. no PI!!!

That's not a PI, Watkin's was going after the ball and they bumped into each other. They are making it sound like Watkins was draped all over him, we've seen the same no-call all season. The defender has the right to go after the ball as much as the receiver does.

How many times have you seen a WR maul a DB trying to make a play on a badly thrown ball with no call?

terrible defense in first half...no effort and no pass rush

these zone defenses they've designed should all be s-canned

that was not interference on Watkins, he WAS playing the ball, in spite of what Troy said...he nearly picked it...he has as much right to the ball as the defender, and he didnt come over him or from behind him...he cut in front...

but they have got to play better than this in the 2nd half or we will lose...really no excuse for giving up 250+ yds and 20 pts in one half to this team..none at all

the defense talked all this **** leading up to the game and has not backed up nothing im tired of the inconsistency of this defense they show flashes of being good but then they show flashes of being terrible stop belittling people because we aren't thinking the way you think thats all you do

Agreed with the defense part. Seems december has a way of making our defenders forget how to do their jobs.


And am I the only one that didn't think Watkins did anything wrong? It may have been PI, but it wasn't as "Bad" as the morons in the booth tried to make it out to be. He was going for the ball. Last I remember, the defender has just as much right to the ball as the WR.

And gotta think that was what the ref was thinking on that, who had a good view of the play...Couldn't tell if Pat was making a break on the ball or cutting Calvin J from getting to it.

WOW, just got online and I see half of our fans have already jumped ship! WTH!! Go ahead and jump. The real fans of the Cowboys don't need anymore on the bandwagon. SHEESSHHHH!!!! It's halftime and we're down by 6. Didn't know the NFL called games after 2 quarters. Obviously we're not playing well, but there are 4 quarters. Some of you guys would make horrible golfers.

Let them give up on the team, it's no big deal, I see this type of behavior anytime we trail another team.

Lot of people are upset with the team, we are much, much better than Lions and yet Lions are ***** slapping the cowboys, lot worse than what NE did to us.

given up 51 sacks in 12 games, we have none...turnovers galore, we forced none...no run game to speak of, they run through us like we arnt even there

looks like Parcells/Zimmer D today...just terrible

Not all of us are.......there is nothing wrong with critisizing our team when they are playing like crap. Most of us are die hard and always will be, but we are also realistic, and when the team is playing like this, and we critisize, it doesn't mean we are bailing on the team.

If you can't see that the team is playing like crap......well take those colored glasses off. It doesn't mean we think the team will lose......we still have faith!

Even though he was playing the ball so was Calvin Johnson. Pretty sure you cant interfere with one players position on the ball just to give yourself better position (ie running through someone shoulder). Probably shoulda been called, but hey, who's complainin

Its not that they are a bad defense they are just waaay too inconsistent..

and that zone they are playing isn't great
