Lions should get credit for switching their style offensively, they've called some good plays and have strayed away from their traditional style. We're the best in the league at adjusting at half-time, we'll start to pull away like we usually do once we force them to play Detroit Lions Football.

I certainly don't like what I'm seeing from the team as well as the refs. I have no doubt we will come back and win but we will have to deal with everyone saying the refs gave us the game. I'm afraid we won't really be able to argue that point too much. We need to come out and blow them out so nothing that happened in the 1st half really matters.

Yes I realize that. I also realize that there is a second hlaf and we have a coaching staff that knows how to make adjustments at halftime. We have done it before, and we can do it again. No need to give up on the game just yet.

257 yards given up at the half...Pace for 500 for the game, not exactly elite D there...No pass pressure except the first couple of series, Ware unfortunately responsible for the FG.

Fortunately, no TOs so far...How big has Miles Austin, Witten and Barber been eh?...If they're going to focus on TO on D, gotta hope that Crayton is going to step up in the 2nd half or that Jason moves either of them around to open things up...As it is, they're losing the possession contest and it may end up coming down to who can make the most of their possessions in the 2nd half.

Wonder what kind of adjustments the D will be able to produce.

And am I the only one that didn't think Watkins did anything wrong? It may have been PI, but it wasn't as "Bad" as the morons in the booth tried to make it out to be. He was going for the ball. Last I remember, the defender has just as much right to the ball as the WR.

Even though he was playing the ball so was Calvin Johnson. Pretty sure you cant interfere with one players position on the ball just to give yourself better position (ie running through someone shoulder). Probably shoulda been called, but hey, who's complainin

it was one of two or three plays the entire first half we played good defense and had decent coverage...the rest of them, total crap

and I am pretty sure we havent called a single blitz the entire first half...instead he just stands back there waiting for people to break free...sad thing is alot of plays they only have 3 guys in the routes, and they are still wide open...nothing wrong with zone defense, but you cant play this damn soft

given up 51 sacks in 12 games, we have none...turnovers galore, we forced none...no run game to speak of, they run through us like we arnt even there

Don't know why you bring up BP and Zimmer. Our teams have been playing like this in December since the Chan Gailey days. It didn't just start happening when BP took over.

Gotta also say, Dallas which has a habit of getting hosed by the officials, dodged 2 PI calls in the 1st half...The first one on RW, kinda 50/50 but that last one on Watkins looked like a missed call...We'd P'd if that was other way

Both were good non-calls. The one I think was questionable was Gurode covering up that fumble. On the replay they showed after the TD it didn't look like he ever hand control.

Not all of us are.......there is nothing wrong with critisizing our team when they are playing like crap. Most of us are die hard and always will be, but we are also realistic, and when the team is playing like this, and we critisize, it doesn't mean we are bailing on the team.

If you can't see that the team is playing like crap......well take those colored glasses off. It doesn't mean we think the team will lose......we still have faith!

I hear ya. I know the defense is playing like crap. My point is that the game isn't over. My comments were directed to those that are already saying 11-2 and we are out of the playoffs. Even the Patriots have off games but they found a way to win. At least give the Cowboys that chance before saying the game is over already.
