The defense and running game is very troubling.

D is not dependable at all. They just let teams match up and down the field like they’re at Carnival having a great time.

Troubled by Cobb’s drops. He already has more drops as a Cowboy than he had in any season for the Fackers. No proof just feels that way.

He had some important plays for us, but I agree the drops were a bit bothersome.

He shouldn’t be on the field period. He gives us nothing. Jarwin can stretch the D. Seems like Witt is getting slower as season wears on.

He gave Dak a relief valve on two plays in a row, extending the drive when it looked like they were gonna bog down, and his blocking downfield helped get at least one first down and one TD. I understand wanting more flash, but Witten is still a useful player.

Maybe. Just ready for a change. Witt couldn’t even get one of his catches turned upfield because he’s so slow. Make him TE coach and get Jarwin and Schultz on the field more.

Im not sure it’s fair to say Cooper had a down game. His snaps were limited because he was banged up, so that limited his opportunities, plus the fact the Lions committed their best DB to Cooper was part of why Cobb and Gallup were able to get open.

….and teams taking the run game out early.

Witten’s role should be as the team’s primary blocking TE. Jarwin should be getting his snaps in the passing game.

Anyone see Dak is now leading the league in passing yards? Coming into this week, Rivers was ahead by 39 yards. The Chargers are on bye next week. So through 10 games played, Dak is leading the league in passing. He is on pace to pass for 5100+ yds. No idea if he will get there but should have plenty of opportunities if the defense and running game continue to not show up for 4 quarters. For a QB that constantly gets beat down and people make jokes about dinking and dunking, it would be awesome to see him lead the league in passing.

Agreed, it doesn't speak well that we allowed a 3 win team with a 2nd string QB to score 27 points on us.
