If you can't beat a 3rd string QB on a GB team with a suspect defense at HOME, then it is certainly over. So, why even care about this team. Even if they would somehow win the next two, it would be a blowout loss in the first round of the playoffs. I never wanted Garrett here in the first place as an OC let alone HC. Maybe he will finally get canned. Three and a half years too late, but better late than never.
It's draft time.
Maybe not. A lot of these inexperienced guys are essentially not rookies now. If you get Lee and Claiborne back then we have a chance. This game is on the coaches and defense more than anyone else. The offense scored more than enough to win this game. Some complain about the historically bad defense then turn around and complain the offense sucks, the coaches suck, and Romo sucks. GB scored on every possession in the second half.
That doesn't excuse one of Romo's picks but I can also find fault in the play calling that allowed GB to force Tony to hurry. Why not max protect, run the ball and take what you can get and at times force. There's more but the vast majority of this loss is on the defense, then less so on the offense for not running more time off the clock and giving Romo more protection as well as some bad calls, then you can complain about Romo throwing a pick under pressure when he has to make something happen. Romo is not off the hook. One INT was all him and the other likely the WR but his legacy is going to continue to be failure at the end of the game and in December, fair or not, because that is what the uninformed are going to see. Just the surface of the problem. Not fair but it is reality and if he doesn't quickly change that then he'll just be another Danny White is the eyes of many.
