Game Day ***Cowboys vs Packers post game thread***

just think: a couple dry holes and Jerry could have found his true calling selling used Chevies in Texarkana. Instead, this....

LOLOLOL this post needs to be saved, cherished and remembered.

If you can't beat a 3rd string QB on a GB team with a suspect defense at HOME, then it is certainly over. So, why even care about this team. Even if they would somehow win the next two, it would be a blowout loss in the first round of the playoffs. I never wanted Garrett here in the first place as an OC let alone HC. Maybe he will finally get canned. Three and a half years too late, but better late than never.

It's draft time.

ESPN: if anyone is playing better than sf, please stand up…dallas not so fast

No TV for me this week. We're just a joke

Seriously. And he's saying we were supposed to run it there? With a minute left on our own 30, and NOW you want to run the ball?!?

He could say whatever he wants after the fact and nobody but Romo would know any different. While we had the ball in the 4th he didn't run it but yeah that one play was definitely suppose to be a run. JG can't get fired soon enough

Had a work christmas party. Checked in at half and saw the Eagles lost and we were up 26-3. Thought to myself, maybe we do have a shot at the playoffs?!

Thankfully I didn't have to watch this game. I can only laugh at what must've happened.

I hope Romo says it was a pass and Garrett is just trying to pass the buck but I am sure he is too classy to do so.

I watched , and I can't stop laughing.

It was unbelievable, and yet I could see it coming a mile away.

Those INTs never happen if the coaching staff makes sure that the ball is run in the second half. I don't care what Romo did with his checks. Final responsibility rests with them to make sure that the ball is run

Garrett can say whatever he wants but he's never been big into running the ball to begin with. He always goes away from the run way to early and the circumstance doesn't even matter. We may have the worst coach in the NFL right now and that's sad considering this is the best franchise in all sports and he's the best we can do. smh

I kind of hope we make it to a playoff game with the Seahawks...I don't think I've ever seen a 70-10 game in the NFL (you can guess who would be on the short end)

you might have to take off your shoes to count how many interceptions Romo would throw against the Seahawks.

I dont blame him. The guy just wants to win. Yes he makes some mistakes here and there, but we cant question that he plays hard and gives us a better chance to win. Its other factors that always seem to bring us down.

And you know what...as far as the pro/anti-romo debate.....its a wash. we are stuck with em...

The "how do you say Tony Romo in spanish? - Mark Sanchez " joke never gets old.

yes and how many of these have there been in the past 5 years, 10 years, 15 years? we must hold the league record for colossal meltdowns...

well..regardless what side of the fence we're on...its games like this that give the Cowboys, Garrett and Romo the choker tag. Not saying its all deserved....but this is the way it is. This game was gagged up for sure. Its just a matter of perspective as to who you want to blame. But a gag job for sure.

When you are up 23 points at the half. The game was not lost. You should never lose a game like that.

If they truly took advantage of what was there, where Romo repeatedly underthrew passes, the lead would be so large that they would not have been able to blow it. Even with the worst statistical defense ever.
