We should have had two plays called there. Sigh. :(
agree
just stupid to waste a down with LOTS of time on the clock
on third down, they should have ran it for the first and then spike - if you didn't make a first down it would run a few more seconds of the clock before attempting field goal.

and on the last 35 sec, which part of blitz does the coaching staff not understand! when we blitz Rogers gets rid of the ball faster and that would prevent a 36 yard pass play.
also our coaching staff needs to understand that with 12 sec left, we got have held every receiver at the line and only got a 5 yd penalty, but that would have ran the clock down.

just stupid coaching

It sure did, and it hurts cause we should never had Rodgers in that situation but our coaches can't manage time if their life were on the line. We spike the ball to kill the time even though we have a TO? Makes no sense to lose a down like that, at the very least we would have milk the clock further + give bailey and easier FG
They were not playing for a fg. They were playing for a td. Players didn't have execute on 2nd and 3rd down and it forced the fg.

Dallas was going for the win not the tie.

In the last offence drive wecould have run third down.. chewed more clock and forced gb to use to. Then the sack on Rodgers should have been game over.. just soooooooooo many mistakes.. somany

And the spike didn't cost us this game. Sleeping during the 1st quarter did. Can't expect to win coming out the way they did. If they get one stop in the first quarter, we're talking about Atlanta and how Carr can keep Julio under 200 yards.
Well the packers were on their heels. The spike gave them chance to regroup. Too bad no killer instinct. No different than the past 20 years.

sorry dude... dak is great. zeke is amazing. but this is the NFL and we had a healthy team with HFA and did not make it. as someone said after 2007 we all thought we would consistently contend and see how that went. all im saying is nothing is for sure in the NFL. we blew a chance. big time.

That team's core was older though, everyone knew Owens, Adams, Davis were getting up there. That O-line got old very quickly.

Even Jerry Jones has to see that this team does not have the defense yet to take the next step.

You've got the offense, Jerry. The defense? Nope. Not yet. Get busy.

We get J. Smith for next season, and we have another draft coming up. The defense will get better while the offense will remain elite. Too bad we can never win in the playoffs. We always face the hardest teams. Oh well, it's only a game.

I just hope the Falcons destroy the Pack. So sick of seeing the same teams going to SB at least every other year. Absolutely sick of these refs as well.

They will....I'm so GD convinced the will that I'm willing to put about 5k toward it. The Pack has NOTHING left. Adams is out with a high ankle sprain, Nelson is out, and another DB went out today. That's a 20 pt.loss or more to ATL

I want to be mad at them, but they could have easily packed it in during the 2nd quarter. They kept playing and didn't give up...It still hurts...but at least they didn't go out like chumps.
